What is the best cheapest wheel for PS4 that's Project Cars compatible?

Since my Logitech DFGT will most likely be obsolete on the PS4, I'll need a new wheel and pedals to work with said PS4. What do you suggest? Links as well would be nice, thanks.

I'm afraid that there are no such thing as a "best" and "cheapest" wheel for PS4.
You have basically two options, all Thrustmaster:

  • T80 a non FFB wheel
  • T300 RS (Two steering wheel options)
The T500 is working inside some games but that's it.

My advice, save up for a T300.

So I need a T300RS. And I have to get a PS4 as well. And a game or two... gonna be a $1000 dollar purchase... ugh...

That's still cheaper than spending $1,000-ish (or more) for just the PC, then adding the cost of the T300RS.

Thrustmaster T100 is worth a mention, and may be the new "don't go below" wheel, as was the case with the DFGT.

T100 has been stated to have the same level of "in game fully functional but no menu support" as T500 for the PS4, at least by the pCARS devs (I asked myself as a pCARS backer and am 100% sure of the answer).

But Thrustmaster's support site doesn't mention in game PS4 capabilities of the T100:
http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=3&fid=15&pid=365&cid=12
whereas it does for the T500:
http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=3&fid=15&pid=317&cid=12

So you would have to "get lucky" for support of the T100 to be present in any future PS4 title.

As others have said, the T300 is the "safest" option, and it just happens to also be a really good wheel. In many ways I prefer my T300 to my T500, except for the pedals. See the T300 thread for more info on this.
