for me it was a 657HP Grand National. We pulled onto a small street in NY (somewhere in the bronx) and we draged down the block. He stoped at the begining, hit this red switch on the shift knob (it locked up the brakes) dialed the PSI up (goes from 4 to 17) and slammed on the gas pedal. a second later he hits the red button again, and OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! we did a wheelie and just ****ing jeted down the road! i was pinned to the seat and i couldn't sit forward no matter how hard i tried. man i had a blast. we did this a few more times, and i had a grin stuck on my face for days. *heaven*

Ah, the glory of turbo... :)

Ok even though im 18 and I dont have a driving licence my unkles friend let me drive his 310bhp Audi S3, the acceleration was AMAZING, shame I only got to drive it down a couple of roads. He got the car to 140mph on the motorway. Another car I had a chance to have fun with was A Lexus IS200 only 150bhp but with the traction control off I was able to do some slipin and a slidin.

My driving Lesson car isnt too bad 1.8 Litre Ford Focus

Yea, turbo is sweeet. As for the best i've ever driven, it would have to be a 82' stingray. I was thinking about buying it (damn i shoulda) and man it was a wicked. It was basically stock, with a few mods, had about 420HP. Was all white, and some phatass 18's on it. I did quite a few peel outs as i ran around a few blocks with it, and the powerslides i got out of it where a dreeeam. The tranny's reverse gear was shot, although i didn't really need it 😈

ok... the list is impressively long...

-1997 Porsche 911 Turbo
-1988 Porsche 944 S2 (my father's old car)
-1995 Mazda RX7 (my father's new car)
-2001 Chevy Corvette Z06
-BMW M3 (both the E36 and the E46)
-1997 Acura NSX
-1993Dodge Viper RT/10
-1988 Ferrari 328 GTS
-1965 Shelby Mustang GT350

if you ever wonder how i ever got to drive these things... my father has a lot of "friends" in the business, and so does my boss... going to track days with both of them proved to be quite amusing... something i will definitively repeat this summer...

btw, i also sat in a Jaguar XJ220... but the guys wouldn't let me drive it... I wonder why?

how bout only one, but you can fit your head in it?

I don't know why that guy has 3 turbos on the Supra, but it's the only one I've ever heard of...:) It only makes 650rwhp, but it still runs around a 10sec. 1/4mile.

Here's a fairly large turbo...

all cars pale in comparison after you've ridden in an apache attack helecopter, but i would say the coolest car i've driven (and still drive) is my 1973 ford f100 longbed. it is black with rollbar and kc hi-lights, 390 mill with hooker headers and holley 750 4 banger. i've never driven a super high performance vehicle before but damn, my truck is cool.

I'm too young to drive but I have been in my dad's associate's F355 and his wife's Testarossa. The testarossa was surprisingly weak but the F355 is hot! With that high pitched bi-atch of a sound :p The only car I've driven is my mums C70... not too shabby, then again.. my mom was shaking and I've only reached 50km/h or so. Although it was pretty fun for me to do, clutching is soo much fun especially when you mess it up!!! :p

Well, nothing compares to pro-karting though, an inch of the ground pulling excess speeds of 110kmh easily, ultimate grip, ultimate pleasure!! And the G's the G's...oh...the G's :p I don't think I even pull G's (except for that time  ) but still It can be pretty wild at some of the Spa bowls. (Karting-des-fagnes not the actual circuit!).

Maybe I'll have some hot footage next week of the 3rd Rotax Max race. (ICC's next year!!!!!)

Drove the McLaren MP4-12C. Sweet. Can't think of a cool one I rode in.

Passenger in a NASCAR at Daytona, a C63 AMG at Mosport, and @ND4SPD's C6 Corvette. (God that thing sounded nice.)

Not a car, but I got a ride in a 130mph+ speedboat as well.

The last post before the grave digging was nearly 12 years ago, thats gotta be record!

Anyway:

Driven, BMW E46 M3, I so very badly want one, or get to drive one again. Also, the sound...

Passenger, nothing worthy of this spot. :grumpy:

Probably an '84 C4 Corvette; crossfire injection, 205 horsepower and a herky-jerky automatic. I can feel the jealousy oozing through others' keyboards already. In all honesty, riding in and later driving that car really exposed me as to what sports cars feel like. The steering was sharper than I expected, especially for a thirty year old Chevrolet. The ride was stiff, and the car rattled like it was about to fall apart over cracks in the pavement, but the sensation of driving it with the T-Tops removed is something I'd do again in a heartbeat. It pulled alright, it certainly wasn't slow but I wasn't exactly forced into the seat, either. The V8 was one of the few engines I've experienced that gives a satisfying note just at normal speeds and RPMs. Low and rumbly, but not droney or loud. I look forward to driving it again some day.
