What is your "test track"?

Tsukuba for slower cars and initial tuning on faster ones.

Suzuka for faster cars.

fuji

long straight for speed/acceleration, hard braking on straight for braking stability, fast full lock turns, slow full lock turns, blind part-throttle turns

it has everything you need wrapped up in a sub 2 min package for quick tuning

I can't imagine why anyone would use Nordschliefe as a 'test' track; it takes 8 minutes to complete a lap!

As someone has already pointed out; Nurburgring is used by countless car manufacturers as a test track. It tests every element of a vehicles capabilities.

Daytona Road Course. It's very tight and technical in the infield with lots of hard braking and sweepers. Once you get up on the banking you can go through all the gears to test the top end and stability. The bus stop on the backstretch is a blast to run through as well.

I use Fuji speedway. I find it to be the best overall representation of all purpose driving. It does high speed, sweeping corners and technical sections well. It has pretty much every type of corner available, the only thing it doesn't simulate well is narrow tracks, but that just means I go slower on similar narrower corners.

Drift Forest, easy and quick to do a few laps, come back and tweak the car a bit, test it again, and see if there's any improvements, lots of good technical sections, hairpins and corners.

Monza as its the only F1 track I like, though I wish Montreal, Hockenheim or Interlargos were in the game as those are my fav tracks...

Deep Forest ftw, since GT4

It has some corners that real look like ring, plus some high-speed sections, all those in a compact way.

Deep forest for me as well,it has the best combination of corners out of all the tracks. If it's good on on this track,it's good everywhere.

;)

For testing out cars, i use The Ring.

Cape Ring
to be precise.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Aside from a massive straight, Cape Ring has everything you could want in a test course. Undulating corners, high-banked sweepers, flat sweepers, hairpins, 90s, decreasing radius...you name it.

Right now my test track is Indy because I need more money and exp and this is the fastest way to get it.

Wait a second, what do you mean?
The Indy Speedway is where you can earn the most cash in the shortest time. Of course you need to be level 21 or higher to run these races.

Level 21 Like The Wind Indy 5 laps pays 70k and takes under 4 minutes
Level 23 American Championship Indy 5 laps pays 90k and takes less than 4 minutes. Also pays 4440 xp

So I have been fooling around tweaking a few American race cars and supercars to go really fast around Indy at 98k and 4440xp a pop

Tsukuba if Im doing a quick test as its its got a good mix of corners and is also good for drifting. And the Nordschleife of course

De La Sathe 2009 (No Chicanes).. the perfect test track.. test your speed to the max and has challenging corners. 2 in 1 enough said.

Hey, is there a reason why the Top Gear test track doesn't show up for me? I unlocked it a while ago, but I can't find it anywhere in Arcade mode...
