450kmh in my Suzy Escudo with a stage 4 turbo, lowest ground clearance possible and minimum downforce. It's about as fastest you could possibly go in the game.
Don't worry. It's as I thought. It's just that it's the realism where I find the real fun. No cheats or anything, I don't use Gameshark or whatever else.

I've used %90 of the car's in this game, sooner or later, mid - high 200mph car's don't do it anymore. And my FC RX7 wasn't built to be "realistic". It was built to be a fast car, in a video game.
As for realism, with mk's program, or a gameshark, you can still keep thing's realistic. Dropping the Corvette C5R's engine into the Z06 is realistic, or an Integra motor into a Civic.
Other then that, I have a Supra with no "cheats", running 272mph.
i think my game must be broken or something.....because one time i was racing for fun in a vitz and i hit the side rail and get this...................it raised up on 2 wheels and topped out at bout 1200!!!! anyways, i can get something near 1300 in an escudo........also...after seeing this vitz thing happen.....i returned the game and got a new one....so i cant do it again......

my present top speed is only 269+ with ruf ctr2 but a friend has the escudo upto 299+ havent tried that car so far but if you time it right on some of the race circuits you can draft other cars well over 300 i've already reached 345 but it only shows while you at that race unless you save the replay i havent so maybe later i'll put up a pic if able to accomplish it again.
yeh my RUF RGT is the most powerful non-hybrid non-racecar in my garage with 1072 bhp. Its alongside my R34 M-Spec with the R34 V-SpecII stage 4 turbo hybrid (had the R34 turbo because the game wont allow the M-Spec to have a turbo) which also has 1072bhp but i cannot get the M-Spec to go over 400kmh but the RGT can go around 430kmh
I don't really play GT for the game's sake. If I was old enough to drive and race, then I'd most likely be racing only in the real world. I'm a puritan, see.
But come GT4 (when it comes to the UK), I'll perhaps get a Gameshark along with it. It'll be interesting seeing what silly figures I can bring a car up to.
Don't get your cerebellum in a knot. I wasn't talking to anybody in particular. Plus, think about it. A quadruple-figure speed? IRL, it certainly sounds silly to me. Well, on a road or track it's silly. That's why they take their cars to the Bonneville salt flats. Miles and miles of space.
But as for your cars, Eddie, they seem quite sensible to me.
You need a Gameshark or similar cheat module, with which you can make hybrid cars. I've never done it myself, but you can do some seriously radical things.
me personally i don tuse gamesharks. mostly you figure out the best gear ratio where it accelerates the best but doesn't use the rev limiter but can still reach it, lower the car almost to the bottom and take out all the downforce and stiffin the sway, shocks,etc. so the car doesn't bottom out around the track. it also helps to race backwards because it takes a couple of laps to get to perform at its best your best speed still records weather you finish or not.

my viper goes 290 thats faster then all the cars not unless someone has that car that does the wheelie man that car hits about 500 but my viper has 1180hp so im happy
