i saw the movie Just Friends a few hours ago. :) it was pretty good. pretty funny. I'm wondering if someone in their 40's or above would get the jokes tho.

I saw V for Vendetta last night. Very intense, and really good. I recommend seeing it before it leaves the big screen (that's a while off, but still).

I want to blow something up now.

I just saw The World's Fastest Indian, a very good movie, the acting was decent considering the number of roles.

Watched the Inside Man last night at the Cinema. Now thats a really good movie - didn't expect it to be as good as it was! :D

Early on I rented out:

Saw 2 & The Transporter 2

Two great movies i must say.

Saw "The Island" last night. Now that is a cool movie.

Dective Matthews in Saw 2 looks a bit like Colin McRae.

My, lord..... I think I'd rather vacuum the floor for 4 hours than to watch those two movies again. :scared:

"The Exorcism of Emily Rose"

to be honest, i was creeped out...great movie tho. highly recommended

I think I would rarther watch you vacume the floor than watch them too again. :)

Transporter was ok, but Saw 2 just plain sucked.

Just watched Four Brothers, which i think is a really nice movie, didn't expect it to be as good as it was. 👍

V for Vendetta... interesting movie. I must say I liked it. haven't really seen any other movies recently (new or old)

Watched Jarhead last night. Wasn't all that it was cracked out to be but then again it wasn't half that bad! 👍

Saw Star Wars: Episode 3 again yesterday, first repeat since i saw it in the cinema. Really liked the film, only got slightly bugged by Yoda's messed up lingo. I know it's his quirk, but they took it a little too far, almost to the point of questioning actually what he's talking about.

Back To The Future Trilogy: Well i watched 2 and 3. Great films as always. 👍

I rented a slew of DVDs over the weekend, and Downfall was first on the viewing list. Bleak stuff, though it was fascinating to see such personal and surprisingly mundane portraits of Hitler and Co in the final stages of the war. Quite a claustrophobic film, and pretty disturbing at times, but certainly worth a look if you’re not averse to subtitles.

"The Skulls" Pretty much what I expected. It was OK for free rental. :D

"Equilibruim" This movie has its' own thread here. Often compared to Matrix, while it's not quite the Matrix's calibre, very, very well made. I loved the samurai sword action in there as well.

"House of the Dead II" I don't know if I mentioned this yet. One of those movies that makes you wonder, why do they even bother making something this bad. Waste of time for all the people involved(including the viewers). If you had hand in making this film, it's time to find a day job.

"History of Violence" Very good. Highly recommended rental.

"Jarhead" An OK rental. Featured few good actors, but they sucked in it, so that didn't matter. Peter Saarsgard was an exception, he's on a roll.

"A Civil Action"
Pretty good court drama. I wanted a Hollywood ending, but got a European one instead. It was bit depressing at the end, but if you don't mind that, it's a good rental.

Rented 6 movies the weekend, Finaly saw Kong..freakin awesome! Also Derailed ( not too bad a few little twists + Clive Owen is cool! ) , Prime ( quirky chick flick, not too bad), Zathura, good clean fun...+ a little funny. Jar head ( watching tonight ) and A history of Violence ( tomorrow night )....

Damn, you've seen the movies I want to see, I've seen the movies that you are going to see. I wanted to rent Kong, but it was all rented out. Everybody who's seen it say's it's really good(and over 3hrs long). I agree, Clive Owen's pretty awesome. I think you'll like the Jarhead. There were some unexpected funny parts.

Being over in Japan I see some things later than I would like. That being said;

King Kong: Loved how they made Kong go through emotions. Knew he was going to die at the end and still was sad. Although, that 20 minute Brontosaurus chase was a little overkill. Peter Jackson, we know WETA does good work, but really, wasn't that movie long enough? and I still haven't forgiven you for 'Two Towers'!

Why We Fight: Documentary by BBC with CBC and others assisting. A look at Eisenhowers warning about the military-industrial complex and how it has come to fulfillment. Powerful film that should be seen by anyone who follows current events.

I watched "Steam Boy" on DVD, earlier today. An anime by the director of "Akira". It was interesting at times, but BORING!

Well, I watched " A History of Violence " last night. I am not sure how I feel about the movie. There where some parts that didn't quite make sence, but there was the cool mob influence, full frontal nudity and even a couple of gruesome killings...it was one of those movies you're not sure how to feel about it once you've finished.

I watched Ice Age 2 at the movie theatre last night with the GF. Funnay! When I got home City Of God was showing on TV, but I only watched part of it.

Just watched Vampires out for Blood starring Kevin Dillon. Wasn't expecting it to be a good movie, interesting twist at the end!!

Best part about that entire movie...was the soundtrack.....

Saw Doom the movie yesterday. It was ok at times, but I was expecting more.

I watched The Count of Monte Cristo yesterday.

Probably the best revenge movie

I saw part of Jarhead yesterday, looked good. The sad thing it that I'll probably never finish it.
