i bought "Queens of the Stoneage - R rated" yesterday, it's an older album, but i love the style and the sound of them. so for me it's a really great cd 👍 👍

I bought a couple last night:

1) Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

2) They Might Be Giants - Severe Tire Damage....... so I thought! It was a used copy and had their "Lincoln" CD inside instead! Now I have to go exchange or return it. :indiff:

Arctic Monkeys, I've been listening to a lot on a burned copy. Really catchy music. 👍

My most recent purchases:

Jurassic-5 - Feedback [Biggest disappointment I've ever had from any hip-hop artist. They truly give off the feeling as though they sold out. :(]

Dilated Peoples - 20/20 [AMAZING! The group stepped it up a notch on this one, and was a great improvement for their lineup. 👍👍]

Thanks! And it turns out the burned copy was missing a really cool song called "You Probably Couldn't See The Lights But You Were Looking Straight At Me"(long title  ). I hope the upcoming album is just as good. :)

Well see what viperpilot thinks about this one :D :

My latest CD, Train "Alive At Last"(live CD). This super hot girl called me a nerd today. Naturally, I claimed it wasn't mine.

I got a used copy of Jamie Cullum's "Catching Tales". I almost bought this CD new upon its' release, but didn't like it that much on iTunes samples. I hope I like it better this time, I really digged his album before this one. This copy came with a DVD. I wonder what's on it!

The last CD I purchased was Alexisonfire's "Watch Out". Awesome Cd by my favourite band. Anyone who hasn't heard of AOF should give them a try.

Bought 4 CDs today - a rarity for me:

Metallica - Kill 'Em All
Metallica - ...And Justice For All
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
Slayer - Reign In Blood

I just bought StoneSour - Come What (ever) May and Slayer - Christ Illusion. the both cds are really great and I cannot stop hearing them....Kerry Kings and Jeff Hannemanns solos are so amazing......:-)

I recently bought...

Rage against the machine - RAGE
(i think thats what its called!) but its a little dissapointing for RATM's standards

Lost Prophets - Fake sound of progress
Brilliant album, so much better than start something and liberation transmission

Anti-Flag - For blood and empire
Another brilliant album

Yellowcard - Lights and sounds
Pretty good, but the violin takes some getting used to!

The Mars Volta -Amputechture

Completely different to Deloused, different to Frances the Mute. I still debate with myself which is better, now I have this to put into the mix. The second half of this album is amazing.

This weekend i bought the Prodigy - Their Law (Greatest Hits), been wanting it for a while but never got round to actually purchasing it until i saw it on sale for £7 and snapped it up.

Not listened to it yet, but i know it will be good 'cause i already know all the tracks.

Got 3 more last week, and completed my 80's Metallica collection:

Metallica - Ride The Lightning
Metallica - Garage Inc.
Trivium - Ascendancy

Sometime early last week, I boiught 8 CDs in one shopping spree. The list includes:

  • Dirty Pretty Things - Waterloo to Anywhere
  • Eric Clapton - The Cream of Clapton
  • Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
  • Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin iI
  • Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III
  • Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
  • The Libertines - Up the Bracket
  • Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

Last Thursday I think it was . . . not really sure. After having destroyed the display on my iRiver by accident, I went out and picked myself up a 30GB iPod. The next day I went back to Best Buy picked up a case for it, along with two more CDs. That list includes:

  • Jay-Z - The Blueprint
  • Jay-Z - The Black Album

My last two purchases:-

Steely Dan - Can't Buy A Thrill (1972)

Highlights include the songs "Do It Again", "Dirty Work", "Kings", "Midnight Crusier" and "Brooklyn (Owed The Charmer Under Me)" - a brilliant album from beginning to end, and even more amazing considering that this album was their first.

Frank Zappa - Sheik Yerbouti (1979)
stars-3-0.gif

Mostly recorded live with overdubs added later in the studio, this album is a bit of a mixed bag. However, it does contain a few absolutely classic Zappa songs, the hilarious and brilliant "Dancin' Fool", the controversial "Bobby Brown Goes Down" and the ridiculously controversial "Jewish Princess". The rest of the album doesn't quite stand up as well against some of his earlier output.

Went out and brought "Origin of Symmetry" by Muse last weekend, really, really great album, better than Black Holes and Revelations.

I'll probably go and get Showbiz this weekend also by Muse after recieving a great song off the album thanks to a friend.

these are my most recent purchases

pharrell - In my mind
Maximo park - a certain triggger
the new pornographers - mass romantic

I bought Audioslave's Revelations yesterday. Turned GT4's music down (really starting to hate it) and turned the ex-Rage/Soundgarden outift up and I swear my laptimes improved just by listening to it. I had no idea who they were until the other day when I was trying to make a CD of all the Bond themes and stumbled upon You Know My Name, the title track to Casino Royale. After hearing it for the first time and absolutely loving it, I checked out who the artist was and a quick Google search led me to Soundgarden and Audioslave. Revelations was in my hot little hands within twenty-four hours.
