I upgraded my S2 to ICS, the only downside is that you don't have the scrollable wallpapers anymore. :grumpy:

Yep, just found out you can buy Temple Run and Grand Theft Auto on Android Market. Serves me right for still being on Android 2.1 . Really eyeing up this S3 now though, I would just like to hear how the video calling works (never used video call, would skype work if I made one, etc) and if the very thin phone would stand up to the normal bending in a pocket.

The Galaxy SII is slightly thinner and it copes remarkably well consider how much abuse it takes.

That's good to know. My Desire is pretty thick, so I wanted to know. Either way, a new phone will have a case so I shouldn't be too worried I don't think. I've just heard that Samsung's keyboard is less user-friendly than HTC's (which is pretty much the only good thing about this stupid phone), so that could be an area of concern.

It's not difficult to install new keyboards on android, it's just a matter of searching on google for '[x phone brand] keyboard apk'.

I'm about to get a hand-me-down Droid from my Grandmother (I think its the Incredible), Can I activate it on Verizon with no Internet, since I already have the phone and dont need a contract?

I have an a LG900G model phone, internet, and 8gb micro sd card. 4 GB full with Pokemon stuff (songs, images, episodes, video clips). I don't plan on changing, the phone is best for me. Pic I took my digital camera, just took out all the other stuff out with pain program

timer is on since I was baking a pot pie in the over, and I'm bad at keeping up with time looking at a clock

HTC Desire running a custom Rom. Will probably put ICS on it should it run it smoothly.

Would rather not pay for a new one and the accompanying Data fees.
Thank you for not answering my question.

Actually my dad gets his phones free due to contracts, he got a white 4S.

I answered your question. I told you what phone I had.

 He wasn't talking to you.

Why don't you try calling Verizon and you know asking yourself?

When asking for help dont attack people who weren't responding to you on the first place. He is saying he got a hand me down phone. :dunce:

I actually know the answer but I think you sitting on hold with Verizon for an hour is a better solution to this.

Cool story bro, tell it again. How is what your dad gets going to help me?

Since that's not what my question was, no you didnt.
If you have a question about your phone, start a new thread with said question, not jump down everyone's throats when they're actually staying on topic.

Better yet, take CMvan46's suggestion and call your cell carrier.

It hadnt occurred to me that he wasnt talking to me. The similar sentence structure made it seem so.

Apologies to those who were involved.

Casio G'zOne. Best phone I've ever owned. Completely waterproof, great battery life, great signal and very durable. I'll never own a "smart" phone because I don't need a portable computer to make a phone call. Plus I've never seen a smart phone get dropped in a bucket of oil and diesel in the same day and work perfectly fine afterwards.

Just got a sick free update for my Galaxy S II today, anybody else get it?

This.

It's a HTC Trophy 7 T8686. Windows operated, very strong processor, amazing camera and the best sound I've ever heard from a phone in my entire life. I absolutely love it, it's only drawback is the lack of apps :indiff: Like, GTP
But overall it's a really good phone, had a good price and is very durable. Also has a long battery life and great features :)👍

The Rumor Touch, The worlds worst phone.

I will sympathize. That was my loaner phone for a couple weeks and I had to resist many urges to chuck it out the window.

Galaxy S (original) for now. Upgrade in a few weeks and I'll be going with iphone 4s or 5 depending if it's worth the cost. Android has lost me as a fan quite a bit recently and I've been nothing but impressed with the ipad I was given so I'm switching to the dark side.
