It shouldn't, the previous games didn't.

Besides, does Lingenfelter even use super/turbochargers? He didn't used to. And his cars would still whoop up on the competition. Reminds me of something one of the other tuners said to him at a competition (Hennessy, maybe), concerning something Lingenfelter had done to the exhaust on the Firebird that was competing.. "That's a pretty neat idea, maybe we should try something like that sometime on our cars.." To which Lingenfelter responded "Yeah, and if I wanted mine to go faster, I could just put a blower on it." SSSSMACK!! :) (Lingenfelter's was the only car in the group that had no turbocharger and no supercharger, yet he won most of the tests).

How about a CD of cars being tested by PD. My cousin has one done by a group of test drivers at an old airfield in Engand and recorded the sounds of all sorts of cars tearing down the runways. It was awesome. So if PD threw in a CD of engine noises of the fastest cars in the game, well, Driving Heaven is one step closer.

Lingenfelter's flagship Vettes use garret GT twin-turbos.

Most of his cars now use turbocharging (the crazy-fast ones)

I would like to see telemtry that told you everything, including fuel consumption, tyre wear and pressure, your fastest sectors, where you gain time and where you lose it, whether or not you are catching the next car or if they're catching you, and anything else that would be even slightly useful.

Break it all down for analysis at the end of the race, show it in tables and graphs to make it easier to understand where you are good and where you need work. I think it could be really good for forumating Pit Strategy and would really work well in B-Spec Mode because you take on the role of a Team Boss ad all that info is available to them. In-depth telemetry would allow you to better manage the way the CPU drives in B-Spec as you could better tell it where to go hard and where to take it easy.

I'm with you with some telemetry at the end of the race that shows you what your quickest sector time was and on what lap you achieved it.

Ideally if it had a table that listed all sectors, and resulting lap times so you could really compare you consistency etc

1. More realistic braking distances.
The V8 supercars at the Gold Coast on the weekend need approx 150 metres to slow down from 260 kmh to 80 kmh. In GT3 you could brake at half that distance and still make the corner. Maybe the exagerated brake peformance is what made the F1 cars so much faster in GT3 than in real life.
2. Several Australian tracks would be nice.
3. Some V8 and 6 cylinder Aussie performance cars from the 1970's when Australia had the fastest 4 door sedan and the fastest 6 cylinder cars in the world at that time. (GTHO Falcon and Valiant Charger). The Charger never won Bathurst but did very well in New Zealand.

Hmmm the GTHO Phase 4 Falcon, that was a forgotten car that had 'Supercar' performance, pity it never got developed fully and onto the race track...

Yes please!:D Don't forget some of the newer Aussie cars, The Commdores and Falcons.

A nice little addition would be where a track displays a split time, along with it they display the speed through it as well...

Thats' all good and well, but you guys are forgetting one important feature....
The AI! If cars like the bmw lmr v-12 and mclaren f1 gtr and others are in the game, It would be incredible to have an ai that could mop the floor with you, arcade racing style, and a little road rage would'nt hurt, would it?

well theres one problem with gt series games is when you get close to cars there even seems to be a invisible wall that bounces you of them you never actually touch their car and the car is to hard to controll around other cars especially with a controller because the cars arent very agile when compared to games like dtm2. or is it just me.who knows.

About the invisible barrier, I think you're right. But I don't know if it's there in GT3.
I think it's mainly either the driver or the suspsension that can't manuever the car well in car battles. If you've played the pc version of need for speed:high stakes, you know what I mean by " arcade racing stye" in my last post.
