I am having a super hard time getting my driver to win these races. I have a lightening and a hemi ram, but neither one can pull off a win.

i used to fully modified lightning, and it took my bob a couple times on the laguna seca track before he pulled off the win.

A fully tuned Ram won me both races, but the Daytona race was hard to do. The Ram just has terrible top speed.

I suffered from the same problem.

It took me a fair few tries and numerous upgrades before my driver was able to win it. The Tacoma's were the biggest issue due to being the lightest car on the field. And for some reason my driver constantly braked across the start/finish line, which didn't help the situation at all.

I used fully modded Lightning that totally dominated in A-spec. But Bob didn't like it at all.

Just keep hitting the overtake button. Sooner or later he'll actually overtake.

My bob is a lvl14 and he just killed them all with a fully tuned F150. Lapped one of them at daytona and won by 20 seconds at laguna seca.

I used a fully modded Dodge Ram and won by 20 seconds at Daytona and over 16 seconds at Lugana Seca.It was super easy.I can let you borrow it if you want but i would need something as collateral to hold until you return the Dodge Ram.Send me a PM if you want to borrow it.

You dont need to fully tune a truck. Once you HP is comparable, you just need the custom gearbox and raise the top speed. That did the trick for me in the Ford.

Took my Bob a while with the toyota but after he leveled he had much better cornering speed which helped allot at daytona.

The Ram, being 4WD, is a favorite with my Bob. I did only a stage 1 weight and added a supercharger and adjustable tranny. You do have to keep reminding him who is in charge of the team so he doesn't go to sleep at an inopportune time...

Well, I got the Lighting, and at Daytone, Peace of cake.
But the Laguna track, wtf, Bob just hits the pedal halfway :s he never gives full throttle.
did the race 4 times by now, best place so far is 4th behind 3 tacoma's...

I used the F150 Lightning & took a while to win at Daytona. My Bobo kept brakeing when going round the corners and bashing the other cars rather than overtakeing.

This.

I managed b-spec wins first, in a Ford F150 Lightning model. Weight reduction, fully adjustable suspension and tranny, and a few HP boosters like supercharger. The most important part really is the lowering on the suspension and tuning the tranny for a better top speed on Daytona. I used a different tranny ratio for the other track, with better acceleration since it wasn't going to hit top speed anyway.

After getting it tuned for b-spec, winning in a-spec was a piece of cake! 👍

The F150 to me.

Fully modded, very easy at Laguna, pretty hard at Daytona, my Bob was unable to take advantage of the extra +20mph top speed to build a gap, was the all race pushing pushing...

ok ok ok! i am about to give up here. i have tried with the hemi and ford. the slightly modded toyota isnt much different. the best i can get is 2nd on laguna, and the daytona, is a mess. bob will not utilize the speed the truck is capable of, and keeps braking in the middle of the turns. i am really baffled on what to do. it seems its a piece of cake for everyone else.

ford lightning, full upgrade, restore engine. mine is 748hp and i won both first time. probably dont need all the hp to win but it is sure fun drifting this thing around just for fun

I think Daytona is one of those races that it is better to come back to later when bob has hit puberty. I tried over and over again with the F150 maxed out on Daytona with the same result when bob was 5-8. I left the race for a while and moved on to other races and then the other day when my B spec reached level 12 or 13 and bob was 11 I decided to give it a go just to see if there was an improvement and he did it with minimal fuss, first try and with a 2 second lead. It would be good to try this event when bob is in his late teens, perhaps he won't brake at the start/finish line at all.

No problem with Laguna Seca even when bob was still wearing pull ups.
