Signature Edition for me! I normally like to keep my gaming collection minty fresh, but I think I'll also use the wallet and key chain that comes with it.

I'm even considering purchasing a 2nd copy of the SE for collectors sakes but the price definitely has me on the fence. That, and racing games don't traditionally hold their value very well.

What do you guys think...will a sealed copy of the SE increase in value over the years, or once GT6 is out none will give a damn?

I preordered the Standard edition on Amazon for $40 since I got $20 game credit for Castlevania Lords of Shadow. Amazon gives $10 game credit for GT5 preorders so I'll use that $10 towards NBA Jam haha.

Today I preordered the standard version.

As I see it, a promo keychain should always be free, and the included model car doesn't appear to be of very high quality because of its single-color printing. (I'd rather spend the money getting a better model of a car I like) Later on I may go for the Prima track guide as long as it reviews well here, and teaches better lines than the big blue one on the ground.

I really enjoyed the behind the scenes Gran Turismo 4: Driving the Game coffee table book, and hope that later on there is one for GT5.

I had the CE pre-ordered but canceled it a couple of weeks ago. I'm now getting the normal version when it comes out.

Same here - I figured there's no point in paying 20 euros extra just for a book and fancy packaging. I'll just pick up the standard edition on the launch day.

Have had the Collector's Edition pre-ordered for about a month. Not much longer now.

I've pre-ordered the Collector's Edition (UK) but the more I think about it the closer I'm getting to ordering the Signature Edition.

All I actually want when I buy the game is...

• The game.
• Six additional in-game ‘Stealth’ cars.
• In-game ‘ChromeLine’ vehicle pack: five performance-enhanced cars ready to race.
• 200+ page ‘Apex’ driver’s magazine with hints on driving.

Is it wrong to be thinking about buying the Signature Edition just for the downloadable cars? In all honesty, I think I'd be more than happy to just get the Standard Edition and buy the cars on eBay but I'd probably end up paying more that way.

The price GT5 things seem to be going for at the moment on eBay makes me think that I'll buy the Signature Edition and sell it on straight away without the stealth code which I'll use on my Standard Edition.

Is anybody else just after the extra cars?

Just pre-ordered my bog standard edition earlier today, I chose the delivery option so that the game will arrive on release day. All in it cost just under £40.00 (Amazon.co.uk), not bad, but I was hoping to get it a little cheaper I must admit.

Have had the CE on preorder from a local GameStop for about 4 months or so.. I have about $67 on it so far.

After the track list though, I may change my preorder to the standard edition, I'm very disappointed with only 27 tracks. If there were 50 or 60 tracks, all with variations, and most with weather and time of day changes, I'd be happy and keep my CE preorder.

I just think GT as a series lost a lot in GT5. It's not nearly the GT I remember with plenty of cars AND tracks. It's just another racing game with too little content (tracks). There's nothing special about Gran Turismo anymore.. not worth getting CE.
