If you can't take the *****ing, you'd really want to get out of the forums. I really think the people who are always complaining about there being too many questions are hipocrites.

Couldn't agree more i'm just saying poeple need to be happy with what we get instead of complaining about some stupid little mishap with the game like there's no reverse lights, good lord that's the end of the world isn't it, the ai doesn't know you're backing up.(it's just an example and i know i'm gonna get hell about it because PD talks about how meticulous they are about detail, and reverse lights are one of those details and they should be in)

The reason it's such a minor detail is because the general idea is to NEVER BACK UP. It's handy when you crash or spin out, but the same holds true there.. the idea is to NOT CRASH. If driven properly, you'll never once put the car into reverse. Ever. So, reverse lights aren't really needed, are they?

Bear in mind also we don't know if reverse lights are in the game or not. I mean, it's got backfire.. for all we know, it's got reverse lights, too.

I have good reasons to believe that once the case of the first GT4 copy that will be sold opens, the world will indeed end. Of course, this will be a result of hell freezing over and pigs returning to their natural place... the sky, that is. Which will give us but some moments to lay our fingers on the shiny disc before we end up in heaven. Awesome, no?

when GT4 pops its head out of PD's headquaters and makes it onto the shelvs in japan I will wait another couple of months for it to appear over in the UK.

Im sure that all the speculation will be cleared up within a couple of days of the release so im going to be just glued to my monitor reading.

As soon as it reaches the UK I am going to officially flunk my Degree and become a recluse in the mountains and play GT4 till my eyes bleed.

For me things are getting really funny and sometimes they get even unbelievable !

About a year ago i was very disappointed when i heard about a delay of the release of GT4.
At that time the release was planned for "before Christmas 2003" and they (polyphony digital) announced, that the game would be released in February 2003 because there were some problems with the online mode !!!!! (didn´t we hear this a few days ago again ??)

The new release date was announced and i took a holiday for this day and the following 3 days to gain some advantage for the online mode.

When the release date in February was cancelled again (and they told us, that the game would be released in August) i wrote a thread in this forum and i told the people, that we could be happy, if the game would be released before X-mas.

Now it is almost X-mas and the release date has changed to something like "febuary 2005" and after maybe 5 or 6 fake-release-dates i´m pretty disappointed. I´m starting to look at games like Enthusia-Racing and i´m even thinking about buying a X-Box, just because i´m ****ed up by these fake-informations from Polypony-Digital/Sony !!!

Since GT 1 i´m a big fan of this Game-Series, but i´m also tired of being told, that the next part of the series will be released very soon.

That *would* be a good idea (a centralized official car list), but the chances of it working are about as good as Dubya pronouncing "nuclear" properly.

I'm assuming The359 has some sort of plan for when the Japanese game finally makes it into some members' hands.

I can get a hold of the japanese copy too but I think I'll hold out until the US one releases. Although this game doesn't revolve around reading text, I want to experience everything as a whole. But it's gonna be hard for me to hold back! >< seeing all these people saying they play it

I agree,people wont really care reading the japanese text,they just want to play gt4 for the fun of it,and once thows member post the first gt4 vids they are going to cry.

It's like your first time on the internet, this huge source of information and help, a playground, a place to meet people, and whatever the internet can be for you. And what do you do? You sit in front of an empty browser window and you have no clue what to do. See what I mean?

Well ... I love all the information that's passed on. But I hate the chaos, cause everybody sees something and wants to share it with us. Noone's gonna care about searching if this info has already been posted, so there's gonna be a big fat cloud of threads with lots of information in it, but you won't be able to find it because it's not sorted in any way.

Another problem that occurs in forums is that there's a huge mess when a lot of information comes in quickly. Until you've written your answer the question is 10 posts away already, and afterwards noone will be able to sort out any serious talk.

Even when all the info from TGS came in I got a bit lost here, I think it will take me a few days after GT4 comes out to get back into the swing of things and find out whats going on. I think we should have an Official cars, tracks, modes, and gameplay threads with all info in the first few posts, that way I wont get confused

EXACTLY. I feel precisely the same way, i've waited long enough, sod the surprise, just lob the game at me! Although GT4 isn't even out quite yet, i would like to see things like a Gt4 version of mk's, a Gt4 area on GTVault, and online tim submission start appearing. That will complete the existence. I can see it now, Nurburgring Nordschleife, VW beetle hybrid with a really rapid undergear, generating some serious tyremarks!!!! I'd also like to see how fast i could get a lap on that track. It has some serious hybrid potential, i don't know about you, but i sense i may be causing some salivation on some GT fans' tongues.

As to Horch, i feel the same way, i have never seen the opening movie to any Gt game i've had, and as far as proper GT games go, i've had them all. That exciting event is saved for the moment!

I know I won't. I'll have to actually read something to get a good experience of the game. And also, the license tests will be pretty hard to get through without something describing the individual tests for me.
