What would constitute Spec 3 ?

I guess i am the only person who really likes b spec...

I wanted it because i was tired of blowing past the competition, especially since they never really fight back if you try to pass them in a spec.

I like B-Spec it's handy for credits when you're busy. As far as B-Spec in arcade - er no, kinda pointless. However I would like to see B-Spec for seasonals so we can earn more cash.

Definitely accurate sounds as I want my RM Corvettes to sound like the real race cars.

Premium Rufs - can't have Porsche so make the standard Rufs premium, particularly the CTR Yellow Bird.

Bring back the old tracks! https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=201774

More events. Improvements in graphics, AI, physics, online. At least 30 standard cars converted to premiums. It should be free of course :p

It appears that Seasonal Events is our only alternative to new A-spec events. Seasonals could really do with a karting series, rally series, and some sort of touring car racing series using Spa.

It would be fitting (and very cool) if they gave us an Event/Championship Generator in a spec 3.0 update. I believe it was GT3? that awarded you with the Event Synthesizer after completing the full game? That concept could be expanded and utilized in gt5 with roaring success- shouldn't take too many programming hours to create that, should it?

Also we'd like to see all of the fantastic Arcade and Online options available in GT Life. I want to crank the A.I. up to 11, turn the slipstream down to 'real', and feel/see all possible damage while blasting around the green hell at sunset- earning cash and xp.

(some of this)

.

I want in Spec 3.0

- better A.I. again..
- better mechanical damage
- better visual damage
- fix "glitch" like tearing, frame drops or shadows
- matchmaking
- more options in online
- more optons in pit. (only fuel etc..)
- unlock camera - 360 degress on the track.
- global shop of cars which you have in the garage. You have a car which you don't want? Just set your price and wait...

Regarding tracks and cars.. I hope, that they will be in the future DLC(s)

Re-done Gran Turismo 4 tracks. Looking at the old Gran Turismo PSP trailer it looks possible they will return one day.

Many things could constitute Spec. 3 in my eyes. Tracks/cars added to game (for free, I wouldn't count DLC), standard to premium for some or all cars (I can dream), GT-Mode overhaul (damage, PP/tire/weight restrictions in races, more events), and most importantly REAL time attack leaderboards.

The way I see it all or any of these would make GT5 practically a new game again.

So tell me why you think America shouldn't get them. Is it just because we're America?

Ha, no man. Not that.

I just think if everyone got them, they wouldn't be so special anymore, and we who have payed for the Signature Edition would lose our unicorn cars.

It would have to be pretty significant, like a revised track editor, changing rims for standard cars, new tracks/premium cars in NCD. And maybe the option of choosing different GT life menu layout. In my opinion, i dont think there is any point of PD making a GT6 for PS3, but rather keep updating this game with new cars and tracks, making it to spec 3, and release another game for the PS4.

How about MUCH higher resale value on cars - base it on mileage if you have to. The ability to sell unwanted parts (even at a 10% - 15% reduced value) would be nice too. For Spec 3, I'd also like to see the A.I. become more realistic in the sense that they can fight back - there's nothing fun about overtaking a car that backs off on the Mulsanne straight! :( )

Apart from that, I think (maybe for GT6) a much more streamlined and desirable car list might be nice - it's one thing to tout you have 1000 available cars, but it's another if only ~250 of them are the ones you actually want / need (ie: 100000000 Skylines? Really?)

I didn't see Drag racing yet, which would be a great feature. Recording 1/4 mile times.
Standard cars should get another facelift, along with their interiors (one can dream)
Time change for Spa.
Fanatec wheel support (I know it works well, but let's make it official!)

EDIT-Raise the cap of driver levels!

Anyone in NA who preordered GT5 has 1 of the set already. So they were special but not as special as say the Gillet Camaro.

Part of racing experience is sound and PD should definitely work on this...
New tracks would be more than welcome.
Also I would really really like to see new premiums, that is, some standards turned into premiums but also the addition of some new cars such as:
New Nissan GT-R
Lamborghini Aventador
Lamborghini Reventon
BMW M5
Audi RS5
Aston Martin DBS
Aston Martin Vantage V12
The last road Zonda's such as the Cinque or tricolore
Ariel Atom 500
Caterham R500
The list goes on and on and why not pray for some Porsches and Koenigseggs....:D
Also some improvements in graphics such as trees, smoke, rain etc.
Ofcourse some AI improvements would be appreciated.

More races in A-Spec, and maybe the possibility to create own racin series ( with automatic generating the exp/cr. )

A livery editor would pretty much complete this game for me.
Hear hear! The Livery Editor in Forza is simply stunning, and you end up with an endless stable of race cars, no DLC required.

I'll put in my full two pence after work.

I think fluffy dice hanging from the rear-view mirror would constitute spec 3. Maybe that and the ability to operate each of the cars' cigarette lighters from dashboard view.

Spec 3.0:

Wheels, RM, TC, extra bumpers splitters and spoilers for all cars!

Adaptive A.I. where the game learns how you drive and the A.I. learns to drive, be as fast and as agresive as you are (so at level 40 its like driving against yourself).

Paint shop where you can buy all the paints in the game.

Standard cars Upgraded to Premium and all new cars are in dealers.

A Stickers mode where you go into GT auto pick a design and the workers put in on the car infront of you!

A lot more real life Tracks (forget the old ones this is 2011 not the 90's).

Use Monza Oval for the high speed testing and the full TGTT runway strait for acceleration and drag tests.

More realistic car sounds.

More special events.

Implementing trackdays into the game. (Can you imagine racing round the nurburgring at your free will and there being random cars, from fast to slow that you have to drive past or get out of the way for, then at the end of lap 1, 2, 3 etc... they pit in, disappear and a different driver and car appears, then leaves the pits.)

Broader range of cars accross the world not just mostly Japanese CRAP.

24Hr nurburgring race level to be lowered to level 39.

Tenacious D

That's never gone happen. It will take to long and GT series never had it so it never will. What is believable is a update to the track editor and a higher level cap with more a & b spec races. Also more cars.
