As the title says. What would you prefer PD to do?

I'd prefer them to organise a hamburger picnic for us all.

Hire me as assistant game designer. :D

But really, assuming this has to do with what the deal is with GT6, I say make it for PS4.

I guess this is open ended, isn't it? So, for GT5...

Make the range of A-Spec Events resemble those in GT4, along with Manufacturer Cups.

Work on Spec III, IV, V...

Convert a select list of superb Standard cars into Premiums. NOT just supercars and race cars.

Give us all those classic Gran Turismo tracks.

Produce periodic Race Mod updates (more cars in the list), and make batches of Race Mod/TC cars for DLC.

Give us some kind of Livery Editor, even if it's just a number of templates, along with the ability ti stick on racing plaques/number badges, decals, main sponsors, national flags, and our names.

That's all for now. ;)

Just had my third ylod, games are getting too advanced for the PS3 to cope so add to GT5 and keep GT6 as a mind blowing sale generating beast of a game for the PS4 launch :D

I'll go with the fourth option. That might be what's actually going to happen anyways. Unless they're a bit speedy with GT6.

Keep supporting GT5, but develop GT6 for the PS3

A single game isn't going to motivate people to buy a whole new console. Sony needs to focus on PS3 as it is just reaching its stride sales wise.

This is the truth, whether people want to realize it or not. There is nothing PD can add to GT6 that will blow us away, if they release it on PS3. The online is buggy and lags like crazy as it is, so for graphics, all they can do to make the game more enjoyable is to make them worse.

Sure they can add more cars, turn standards into premiums and add new tracks, but that's very time consuming so before they've satisfied everyone the PS4 will be here anyway.

Why not?

Look at iRacing. It was released over 3 years ago, and it's still being updated and new content arrives every two months or so (and it's a lot more expensive than the DLC for GT5). It's for PC, yes, but I can not see a reason why the same concept could not be successful on consoles?

Double post. Sorry.

Basically make a PS4 port of the GT5 version, label it as GT6, so sony has a GT title for release. Then work on a new version of GT7 for a much later release utilising the whole playstation gen.

I don't know what your internet connection is but I am on basic cable(4mb) internet and have never had a Major lag issue or massive amounts of disconnects. Yes a few here are there and the majority was at patch 1.10(When everyone was having D/Cs happen often).

Yes but the fact remains they are refining the game engine of iRacing and not forcing people to upgrade. Same could be said for GT5/Console games. Why make a whole new game when you can just add updates threw the web.

Option number 2 👍

Neeeeeeeeeeeeed more A-spec events!

I'm on cable 100/100, and I've ran into a lot of really bad ones lately, and very often they've not even been half full and most if not all cars have been standards. When I was playing iRacing however, it was always smooth as a baby's bottom.

Either PD should get a super powerful server and make some official online lobbies with a bunch of different categories (Super GT, NASCAR, Track Day, One Make Races and so on), or they should make the game look a lot worse.

I don't get it. Do you really find it more exciting to race stupid AI's than to race real people?

I'd prefer them to organise a hamburger picnic for us all.

With Sliders for all the Drifters out there :)

More races and events would be welcome.

As I won't be getting the PS4 for a while I went for the second option.

Just drop an event editor in to GT5 and move on.

I chose the second option. No way will I be picking up PS4 until the price to die down to $400 or so. Besides, I'm happy with GT5 graphics and could care less about how standards look. If GT6 has GT5 visuals but brings back a few classic tracks, add some new tracks and new cars and put in lots of events, I'll gladly pre-order right away.

GT5 is already taxing the resources of the PS3 so I say option 4.
New tracks, cars and more events for PS3 and a killer release or SOON after PS4 game.

so then why not go with option 4? I mean ideally I'd love to see PD release a few classic and new tracks and events as dlc for GT5 while they work on making GT6 a substantial upgrade on the PS4...if you don't care about improvments to the fundamental game engine then whats the significance of the jump to "GT6?"

Depends on when the ps4 will be available. If sooner, then gt6@ps4, if later then gt6@ps3.

So I voted for "other".

Keep supporting GT5, but develop GT6 for the PS3.

If they make GT6 for the PS4 they can forget any more support of me, are they insane to rip me off?

Or if they give me paid arcade and some tracks, I will keep GT5.

Yes.
