What would you rate this game on a scale of 1-100?

93 for me. This game has kept me hooked up to it even after a year of non stop GT gaming so really not many other games can do that.

too little content.. not enough support 65

Not enough support? I hope you don't mean from PD. How many updates have they made? More than any other game that I know of on a console.

I usually play a game for a good 3 months, then move on. This game has been 12 with few deviations. I've actually not bought some games I might have played because I've continued to play this. 95. There are some areas to improve, but if they don't get made, it's still an epic game.

I'd give it a 94.
No other game has been good enough to get me to fathom doing a 24hr race/mission that you can't do anything else during. Any other game with that would have been dropped quite quickly.

Including GT4 I've done 4 24hr races all myself, 2 with B-Spec help and 2 B-Spec alone.

90. 1000 cars, an epic model of the Nurburgring, Online racing and time trials, seasonals, updates, B spec remote racing, photomode, and physics. Whats not to love?

I'd give it a 95, since there has never been a game that I have played so many times, that I have gone back to after buying a new game, and no game (well maybe The Sims) has provided such an endless amount of gameplay. The only things holding it back from 100 are the servers, and those updates that take away from the game, rather than benefit it. All in all, best game I've ever had. Good work, PD! 👍👍👍

Gran Turismo 5 report card

Reviewer: CorvetteConquer

Gameplay/driving simulation: 95

Sound effects: 70

Graphics:90

Single player: 80

Multiplayer: 85

Overall (not an average): 82

I'd give it an 87 for it's replay value, graphics and lots of cars. I use all of my cars on the Sunday Cup and it's quite enjoyable. There could be more content but DLC is coming out. Also I wish there were more premiums.

90, a flawed diamond, even with some very easy fixes could have been mid 90s. Much as some things frustrate me, I still play the game constantly, and it's kinda funny how people with 1000 posts-plus (who joined GTP relatively recently) mark it down so far :dunce:

It's Gran Turismo... What we've been used to for almost 15 years. However that doesn't mean there weren't any changes. Most of the changes were for the better such as the Cockpit view and paint editor. Some of them were quite stupid. You don't get much of a choice when it comes to used cars. While sometimes the Used car lot is full of really good cars, most of the time the cars are just either really expensive or just down right lame.

The menu also took a HUGE change. The menus in previous GTs were original and huge (you know, those amazing maps). But the new one has mixed opinions even in myself. While it is easier to access it's just...... Boring.

As I mentioned everything is pretty much the same. Cockpit view was a very good addition. Also the ability to paint your car any color was great.

All GT Ranks (for comparison)

Gt1: 98
Gt2: 100
Gt3: 90
Gt4: 96
GtPSP: 86
Gt5p: 90

And finally....
Gt5: 93!

Definitely not the best in the series, it's still a good game. This will keep you busy for a long time, just like ALL previous Gran Turismos :)

I will say 85. Physics and graphics are great but game play depth, menu system, and all the miatas really get about 60. I still play the game often and overall I love it.

91 for me, i do miss the many more events in gt4, however having played it for a year with minimal breaks means its still pretty good :) the updates have definitely raised this game up from what it was a year ago, and for me standards aren't the greatest to look at but its not a problem whilst driving. Still haven't finished the game

85 for me.

I certainly feel I have had my moneys worth and played the game at least once a week since launch, however, I can see why they wanted another year to get some more events, ideas and premium cars in there.

The spec 2 update has added even more value.
