As the title says, is there absolutely anything special about that car?

Which one? The racing one or the normal one?

Can't say that I'm familiar with the "Skyline Nurb". Can you be more specific please? :)

The only thing special about the Skyline Nurb is that if it is an actual car, then it's seemingly the only skyline that isn't in the game.

i'd like to know whats so special about ANY of the skylines...they all look the same to me, apart from the M.N.P. II and III. :D

I apologize) I had a talk about the Nurburgring seconds before i posted the thread. I meant the Skyline GTR M-Spec II Nur. I added a "b" along with it by mistake). So as i was saying, its the most expensive down to earth-skyline, and i dont see the reason. Same torque, same bhp as the others...Handling seems to be more or less the same as the other skylines...

Doesnt feel that special... The Evo VIII is special, the M3 CSL is special, so what about this one?

It's basically a normal Skyline with a different badge, along with most of the other Skylines in the game (bar a few exceptions).

Doesn't the Nur have a slightly different suspension setup than the other Skylines? I think I read something like that once... :indiff:

Is it the same weight?
Would be funny to buy all the skylines (those that seem alike) and drive 10 laps with each on the same track to see if there's any significant difference.

In the game, it is the fastest road going version of the Skyline that you can buy. The M - Spec Nur Skyline, that is.

It stops in less time and corners faster.

Check out the WRS Week 7 results and see for yourself

GTR's are awd and have mucho more power
v-spec have carbon fibre splitters and oil coolers standard
v-spec 2 is i dunno what

I think there are a few subtle differences, like suspension, but on the whole it is similar to another R34 GTR - however... It is a limited edition. There were stuff all of them made, and that's what makes it special. In a world where the R34 GTR is highly sort after and respected, a limited edition model is even more so.

What's so special? - Limited Edition... :)

the purple R34 is however, completely pointless. why couldnt it just be added to the normal R34??

along with all the pointless pre R33 skylines the ricers have never heard of

Shush, I like R33s.

I believe the M-spec II Nur has special suspention tuning done on the Nurburgring.

I think it has an added air duct on the hood. That may in fact be the only difference, but I can't remember where I read that (possibly here).

R32s are the worthy skylines. Lighter than the R33 or R34 by a respectable margin.

What's the difference between the V Spec Nur and the M Spec Nur?

I bought the V Spec Nur, and but for the Stage 1 weight reduction left it completely stock.

What I've found is that it's the most forgiving car to drive on the most unforgiving course (the Ring).

It's an absolute joy to drive anywhere, though, so smooth. It's the car Skyline haters need to drive.

i do indeed like R32's, its just most of the ricers have never heard of anything other than the R34. the new skyline is really anti ricer tho in its looks :dopey:

R32's are the best Skylines. 👍 They can make just as much power as the newer R34's, they don't look as fat and as heavy (that's beacuse they aren't - cripes, the R33 looks like it would have trouble moving out of its own shadow :yuck: ) and in real life there's a neat trick you can play. By simply removing a fuse from the fusebox, it becomes RWD. Yeah, perfect for drifting!! Only works on R32 though... :)

that is rather handy!!! have it on a switch too, with a little modification you could pull over and switch it to RWD by flicking it, then drift away :dopey:

Absolutley - a switch is a GREAT idea. :)

before i plan to get a R32 and do this, would turning it off when the car is moving bugger it up? i have a feeling it would :ouch:

Not sure because it's electronic, not like moving a 4WD lever in an offroad type vehicle where you're actually engaging cogs. But then the electronics just move a mechanical part, so it's hard to say.

I have heard though that GTR's aren't fulltime 4WD, and only switch to 4WD when it's needed, so I guess that by disabling that link (the fuse) then the 4WD could never engage. As long as you were driving in RWD at the time, I guess you could flick the switch? Sounds like more investigation is needed... If only I could afford an R32 GTR... :)

bah! all skylines are sucky anyhow...
the nur prolly comes with a momo wheel and pretty decals.

I can take a fuse out of my astra to make it no wheel drive! :dopey:

if I take a fuse out of my civic can it become 1 wheel drive?
Just launch it at peak torque, then it'll be one wheel drive. :sly:
