I want an Ipod, but I will have to buy it for myself. parents think it costs too much.
Waste of money, has no features, and syncing with iTunes is a clunky process that in my opinion has been dumbed down tot he point where the user gets very little control over what gets synced and how. Get an iRiver H320 or Creative Zen Touch or Zen NX. Both have more features, better audio quality, and look better and offer at least double the battery life of the iPod. In the case of the Zen Touch, it's 24 hours of juice compared to the iPod's advertised 12. In the case of the H320, you get a colour lcd and the capabilities to take pics off your camera and transfer them to the player :)

which player? Neither of them handle iTunes natively though. No player does other than the iPod. The iRiver uses no software whatsoever. Just plug it in and copy. The creative one uses a proprietary program I think.

In terms of battery life, the iRiver gives 16 hours rated but realistically 12. The creative is 24 hours but realistically you'll get 20 or so. The iPod advertises 12 but expect 8-10 tops.

Two Holley four barrel Carbs, a Crate 454, a 3.5 inch dual exhaust, Independent rear suspension, Rear Disc brakes, Edibrock Headers, Two Recaro racing seats with a five point harness, a T-56 Six Speed tranny, lower gears in the tranny, oh yeah, and I'm jewish so it looks like Santa is not coming to my house
Now that sounds like a cool and familiar christmas list. Some of that was my christmas list last year. 6 speed T-56 tranny, Holley carb, new rear end gears, 2002 trans am dash and interior, Momo steering wheel and knob, 18" Budnik Wheels, and 2 1/2 Flowmaster exhaust. I got all that last year.
This year my christmas list is quite small since I have almost everything I want already.
Here is the unrealistic list:
Suzuki 400Quad, paint for my Camaro(I already have the clearcoat), AFR aluminum heads, power windows, I guess thats about it.
This is the realistic list.
I would really like to get my girlfriends 67 Mustang primered before Christmas. Still working on the body and removing original paint. 7 layers of paint! The car is in real rough shape. :yuck:

All I really want is a good pair of headphones, most likely something from Bose or Sony. Other than that, I'll probably get money, which I'll spend on Ace Combat 05, and CDs.

A 14 channel Remote Control for my show truck with servos and switches....

A CNC controlled lathe....

A CNC controlled milling machine....

7000 kgs of raw aluminium....

sounds fun. Can I join?

If all goes well, I should get the iRiver H320

eMad convinced me.

Mmm. I love that one. I wish I had the H340, but such is a life.

Does me good. 👍

And those who plan to get an Ipod mini, don't get one. You're better off getting the Zen micro from Creative. Has an extra gig of space, better sound quality, smaller than an Ipod mini, and comes in 10 diffrent colors. All for the same price of a regular Ipod mini. ($250.00 USD.)

Two tone?! Get it in red.

I still haven't got an MR-2, although i'm comming around to the red idea. Although I haven't seen many red ones in good condition.

Hah! That was a year ago almost.

And i've had my 60gb zen xtra for almost a year as well, although I don't use it much anymore.

I'd like car insurance for a 21 year old in London not to be so damn expensive, if you can call that a christmas present.

GT4.

I've been told not to buy it by my wife. I warned her to make a backup plan.

That's what I have my eye on too (30gb model), if I buy it online instead of in a store it saves me lots and lots of money. One thing I am worried about as if all the Zen Xtra's have USB 1.1 compatibility because thats all I got :(, I'm going to be looking foward to some really fast transfer speeds.

Otherwise a cheap and nasty PCI video card and another monitor so I can have a dual monitor setup. Yummy. And I almost forgot, If I have money left over, a yearly GTP Subscription.

Memory stick. I'm fed up of my not working printer, buggered floppy disks and having to load everything onto gmail/hotmail!

Get one of those PCI to USB cards. They're about $10 for USB 2.0 trnasfer speeds.

I thought PCI cards had like really, really bad bandwidth speeds though? Anywho for USB 2.0, that's very inexpensive, looks like I'll be getting a one of those too then.

That giant Millenium Falcon LEGO model. Hmm, other than that, I'm not sure. The only thing I really want that will mean something really special would be to spend time with Kalie.

I want a memory stick a URL and for someone to pay for a webhost for me.

I want that black helicopter hovering over my house to leave, it's starting to scare me...

Realistically?

#1: Alias, season 3, on DVD.
#2: Halo 2.
#3: Half Life 2.
#4: This. Yummy!
#5: This, and the system built around it. Yummy!
#6: GT4. :grumpy:
