Last night I ran R5 (now that's a track!) from the PD Cup. I was about 6 seconds away from lapping the 350Z, and everybody else was a lap down. At Apricot Hill I had an MOV of almost 50 seconds over the 350Z, with the oil light on... and tonight I lose by 20+ seconds at R11, despite his 3 pit stops to my 1.

The AI certainly perform better here than they normally do at other tracks and I dont think it is just a horsepower drop due to the old oil. The same goes for the Echo race in the Pro league. It feels to me the AI tyres have 50% more grip than normal at this track.

To me Rome in reverse still seems like a proper track. Some of the other ones, you can tell the track is really made to go in the other direction as the corners "feel" more logical.

The tires are usually the difference @ SSR11... it's a very slow track, so grip and speed through the corners is more important than straight line speed. So if you're running harder tires than the AI drivers it shows here... the other tracks it doesn't matter as much and your tires would be good enough to keep you on the track and close enough that when the AI pits you continue on to a big lead and easy win. IMO the SSR11 Vitz race is the most challenging in GT3 against the AI (the F1 race @ Laguna second), but if you can corner well, it's still a relatively easy win (my best so far was just over 23 seconds ahead of #2, with 1 pit stop each, but i've only done it about 5 times total).

sorry for the double post :guilty:

SSR 2 has to be the best track in the game as it delivers the most challenge
to the driver. i just love those tight hairpins :D
