That is a very good car, My brother loves it and is definitely his favorite on the ring and pretty much anywhere else too :)
I have been driving the Base Model version of it and of course it is the same just a different color, great little car.

The Super Touring version is also very sweet, little faster, little more power.
Yeah the super touring car is a little better, but unfortunately it's a standard car. Also, the impreza touring car (the old race modified impreza from GT5) is also faster, but I find it's handling to be a step down from the GT300 car.

The mini cooper or golf v is probably my favorite car to drive. I remember the seasonal event involving compact cars and I drove the golf on the burg. Holy moly it was amazing. It felt like a sunday drive but to the finish line.

I have a lot of fun taking the Cusco Dunlop Impreza (or the GT300 base model version) around the ring. It's not the fastest car around, but it sticks to the curves like glue, even the nasty ones.

This definitely is one of the best handling cars in my garage 👍

I like to drive cars totally stock and the two cars I enjoy most are the Renault Clio RS and Honda S2000.
They just feel agile and fun!

Please share your favourite cars (stock or tuned)! :)
The Clio RS is one of the more affordable ring rental cars from RSR at Nurburg...

That's what I rented when I visited and ran several laps at the ring.

In fact, GT 6 has most of the more popular rentals now... Sure, you can rent nearly anything at the ring but there are fleets of cars like the Suzuki swift, Clio, Megan, Lotus, etc. that are more affordable to the every day visitor.

GT 6 could do a really cool special event simulating a holiday at the Nurburgring with a rental shop where you work your way through the retal cars... It would be a great way teach new comers are pros alike just like AMG academy did in GT 5 (I really liked that event, as it also allowed you to practice sections of the track).

GT 6 has the most accurate recreation of the ring by a long shot in any game... But I was surprised they didn't change the graffiti for GT 6.

OHH MY (deity) I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THAT!! That was literally the best way to have fun at the ring when offline..

The only snag is all these cars (rentals) have some degree of track prep ie the swifts have semi slicks and a roll cage, etc. (the sport 2 door swift isn't in GT 6 but the 4 door is fine as they are nearly identical)

If you could choose multiple cars and setups online you could simulate an online event and make it a tourist track day...

And having the ability to set the start and finish to the proper location would help too.

Any car that doesn't have a mind of its own, when entering or exiting corners at the same speed as ===> , that otherwise can be done safely in a car produced 80 years ago.

example, not the current Audi R8 LMS, that jumps like an elephant at the site of a mouse.

good: Toyota GT86, can be driven practically with the throttle Riveted to the Floor entire track. If this car handles like it does, then I'm buying one for real.

Honorable Mentions, Aston Vantage, M3 GTR, Ferrari F1 , Ruf RGT , Ferrari Italia, Lexus SC 430 , Subaru BRZ, and any 2-Tonne Mercedez.

Sorta like random races (can't think of the name but you had normal and the switchy one in online which is now gone)

Lexus LFA (which was also my favourite in GT5).

Have barely scratched the surface with cars in GT6 though so that could change

I was bit disappointed by the Nurb edition. So soft and soggy suspension, and indecisive when changing direction..

Driving a Stock nissan skyline r34 v-spec II Nür without hud is just a dream
also i like to drive my z-tune replica and the mine's r34 ofcourse

My special tuned Impreza '05, it's bright yellow with black rims and it's worth driving just for the way it looks. The way it grips like glue is just icing on the cake.

Woah, my favorite is the SLS Stealth (tuned by gt), me thinks it is the one they had in the AMG academy from GT5, and its what made me fall in love with the game in the first place- that/this amg on the ring. Yum.

Two others I like also: BMW Z4M with Aero & GTR R35. The Z4 can "stick" it with the best of 'em. The GTR just SOUNDS like it owns it!

My favorite car/s are the fully tuned SRT Viper/s, both the ACR '08 and the new GTS '13.
The combination of those cars + Nordschleife is crazy, the cars and the track wants to "kill" me every few seconds and at every 2nd corner.
It's something about the Viper that makes the ride scary-fun on this track. I haven't found that feeling in any other car, not even the faster ones.
You need of course to perfectly tune the 1.000hp+ monster for the Nordschleife 1st and after that just drive it like you stole it in the cockpit view (obligatory) and enjoy the roller-coaster.

I don't like the Nordschleife.
I only like the Nordschleife and I only play the Nordschleife, after I finish the "career".
All my cars are tuned only for the Nordschleife.
I only bought a PS3 and GT5/6 for how close to reality Nordschleife is recreated in game.
I would have not bought the game/s if this track would not be in them, and any racing/driving game that does not have Nordschleife in it is a joke, like Forza 5 (Forza 4's Nordschleife is a horrible representation compared to GT's, but at least they had it).

Same with me!

The Rocket '07

With that car, the more turns - the better. It yearns for turns. Just ignore the back straight, you'll be 30 seconds ahead by then so just coast down and check out the castle.

After reading this, I have to try it! :)
