The corners between the hairpin and the first tunnel at Grand Valley Speedway. A real test to see how fast your car can change direction.

All of the corners of Autumn Ring Mini...especially if we are playing Gran Turismo #1 using the Oreca Viper. I can't count the hours I've whiled away tossing high horsepower around that teeny track. Not to mention the fact that autumn is my favorite time of year and the track puts me into a relaxed state of mind.

1/ languna seca's corkscrew

2/ Nordschleife's The Carousel

3/ monza's variante ascari (turn 7) last corner before hairpin to finish line :)

I have been thinking about this for some time and I have made up my mind. It has to be the Schwedekreuz at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Getting it wrong usually results in a big understeer crash while getting it right is like a rollercoaster ride. Before you realize it you have to brake hard for Aremberg and you can breathe again. :)

I LOOOOOOVE that turn. In most cars you wait a little bit in the turn before to shift up from 3rd gear to 4th at that point and if you go over the curbs just right without touching the sand traps you will surely catch whoever is in front of you. Great feeling going through there.👍

The Schumacher S curve(s) at Nurburgring GP. Depending on what outfit you're driving, racing or road, it requires throttle and steering finesse to get the absolute maximum out of it.

The series of high speed corners at the beginning of nordschlief section of Nurburgring. They are quick and the short straights between them allow speeds in exess of 200mph in some cars...

All the Corners of High Speed Ring and the Corkscrew of Laguna Seca :)

I like to cut the corkscrew because it is a really slow turn and you stay at incredible speed and easily pass people

I know it's cheating, but it's the most fun cheating I ever do.

I like the esses of the high speed ring for the same reason I like the porsche curves!

Another turn I like is turn 2 at High Speed Ring, get it right and you can set up an overtake into the esses, get it wrong and you will be in one of the two walls.

Tabac at Monaco is good as well, nice high speed corner leading into the swimming pool complex.

Turns 1 and 2 on Grand Valley East Reverse is all about precision.

The two Lesmo's at Monza are a joy in anything high-powered.

I forgot about the Esses at Road Atlanta, but they aren't in the game. Wasn't Road Atlanta in GT1 or one of the franchises earlier games though?

A lot of People has a favourite corner! Sometimes more than one! So Let's start a little thread about our favourite corners!
My favourite corners are:

Chicago -Top gear test track
The Carrousel - Nurburgring
Turn 3 - Tokyo R246

I love the Corkscrew (Laguna Seca) and also Turn 3 at Fuji, the sweeping right-hander.

I have a couple that come to mind, but there a couple on the Nur that I'd have to look at to get a number or something haha.. But the ones that come to mind are the last corner on Tokyo Route 246 ( the right handed U-turn ) The long sweeping last turn at Tsuzuka, and turns 3-5 at Road Course Indy (it's like on big S curve).. I'll identify those corners at Nur later and post them because they are definitely my favorite!

The hairpin after the long straight at Trial Mountain is one of my favorite corners. 👍
