Take your pic out of Brands Hatch or Goodwood :) . Goodwood is better for track days, but I think that Brands is fantastic for spectating. Though Goodwood is pretty good as well, especially considering you're so close to the cars and there isn't any catch fencing. I'm right in the middle of both of them:) .

Well, Daytona 500 / Sebring / Biltho Drag track :D Also near my mom's house is Limerock in Connecticut.

I'm an afternoon's drive to either Daytona, Sebring or Road Atlanta.

There's some small tracks in my neck of the woods, but none you'd ever heard of.

I didn't know you resided in the northern Florida area . . . I am right out of Orlando :D

Well, I don't have anything near me. I suppose Texas Motor Speedway is a day's drive, but I sure wouldn't make the trip for an oval track. Indy is probably a day and a half. The Florida tracks would be a day and a half as well. Arkansas just sucks - we have nothing local and anything cool enough to drive / fly to is just at the fringe of being too far.

Exige, the track you are near looks like a fun short track. Nothing to be embarassed by. I personally would love to have had my old miata and ran it around that track :D. I really wish I had the topography of the track to see the attitude changes on it :D Personnally I don't like Daytona because I do believe in Right hand turns. Unless they open the infield there I would not be caught dead watching a race there. As for Sebring, that is my precious :D

Triangulation is a handy skill, ain't it ;) I live up the road from 'ol Jeb.

Orlando's a nice town. Lots of stuff to do... very nice 'scenery'.

I have some buddies near TMS that do track days there --they have an infield section course. Not very technical, but still fun.

Ok now I think your smoking crack  j/k Hey if your going to Lemans next year we should meet up :D

Maybe so  The wife and I have friends in Maitland, and we usually have a good time there. I'm amazed how many fine lookin women you have in that town, though

Le Mans? No, no... I'm not flying all the way to France just to see Audi/Bentley win again. I might catch you at Sebring if you're going in Feb, though.. I haven't been in a couple of years.

That is what I am talking about the American Lemans series in Sebring. . . my bad  I actually use to live in Maitland right off of 17-92 inbetween Maitland Blvsd. and 436  the world is so small :D

Famine I thought you were a lot more North West to be near Brands??? :D

Roo: where do you live then to be so close to Goodwood. I'm only 45 minutes away?

I got an idea. . . when we are all rich and retired we should just tour around with a race series to different tracks around the world. . . now if I only hit the 32 million lottery this week :D

wee_man: Fleet, in Hampshire. J4 of the M3. I'm about on hour from Goodwood, at a guess; in 2002 I went to the Festival of Speed and was able to go there and back home again by train every day.

Miata13b: Wahey! Real life Gran Turismo!

Mosport is about an hour or an hour and a half drive from where I live, otherwise there's very few race tracks in the Toronto area that I know of (there's Cayuga drag strip which is an hours drive south of Toronto, and a small oval track about an hour north)

Pukekohe Raceway ~

Meremere Dragway ~ the home drag strip of the fastest street legal GTR in the world 👍 (or something like that).

Its great to watch the 2CV's huddle around the first corner
