I don't drift. I'm learning though. I find that if you use the DS2 just to get to know your car and what's happening helps. When you're advanced enough get a wheel. A wheel is way better though.

I just got the Driving Force Pro the other night....it's amazing. At first it was a little hard to use but in a few hours i was breaking records. Drifting feels way more fun and realistic with a wheel, in my opinion it's way better. However a wheel dose not make you a drifter...practice does.

I feel you can hold corners a lot better with a wheel because it is a lot more sensitive than the DS2.

If you can afford a wheel get the Driving Force Pro you won't be dissapointed!!:D :D :D

Right now I'm using Driving Force, but the brake pedal thing + ****ed up calibration will probably make this thing go back to Fry's.

Most of the time you'll use one or the other. Unless you drive two cars at once. :odd: The wheels have Buttons on anyway. ;)

*Turns away* I wish I could drive two cars at once. *Turns back*

Is there any way you can set both the stick shifter and paddles for changing gears? So you could just have both during the game and swap when you feel like it? Or can you only have one or the other at one time?

Well i wen't through the options and couldn't manage to do it. If anyone knows how to do it please let me know.

Well on the Speedster 3 You go to Program then select the buttons you want to change then what to. There shouldn't be much difference between the Logitech and Speedster 3 in order of Programming.

ok you have L1, L2 and L3 and R1, R2 and R3... what is the stick shifter represented as? How do you set it up so you can use the stick shifter AND paddles for changing gears??

Yes it's the same. You have to program the stick to do what function you want it to do. If it currently isn't doing anything you will have to program it. I don't have a Logitech so I don't know how to do it. I'm sure someone will help you with that though.

This exact poll has been done so many times I dont understand how some people have the patience to repost what they have said thousands of times before. I understand that new members might not have had this experience, but people, if you want to express ideas on this subject search for it with the little button on the top left, and vote in the polls that do exist and post in the threads under these polls... At least in this way people will have the chance to ummm gather a larger and more accurate opinion.

All hardcore people use both. That way no matter where they are they can drive with their utmost skill... As i said before... I am hardcore.
