Hi guy's.
Does anyone of you have experience with this setup ?
I have no room for a playseat and the wheelstand seems to be a good alternative.
Does it work good with G27 steeringwheel and does the G27 works with PS4 ? (gt7)

Fanatec also has a high quality wheel stand that comes with different mounting brackets, instead of forcing you to buy a stand for this wheel, that wheel, and this other wheel. And it doesn't cost $150 like it did not so long ago! http://us.fanatec.com/Stand?product_id=686

Logitech G27
An adapter for the Logitech G25 / G27 shifter is included. These wheels can be hard mounted onto the stand. Other wheels, like the Logitech Driving Force series, can be rigged to our stand as well.

I hope so as I am getting a wheelstand for Christmas! Finally upgrading from my Minky rig. (Minky make Ironing boards). I can't comment on whether or not it works with PS4, but once I have set my rig up I can certainly let you know how it is.

I first tried a wheel round a friends house, his was atatched to his mum's ironing board! Hope you enjoy your new stand. 👍

I'm currently using g27 with wheelstand pro, very sturdy, nothing to complain really

Same here. Had mine about three years now, it's really sturdy too. The only issue I have is after a while of hard braking, the stand can creepy away from you slightly so needs repositioning every few races. This is on carpet, if you were using the stand on a hard surface, the rubber feet would grip the floor better.

Can you move the shifter-plate from left to right and from right to left? Always feels really weird to me shifting a RHD-Car with the right hand :D

Why spend $160 for a WSP that is designed for a specific wheel brand, and then pay for an adaptor if you upgrade your wheel in the future? The Fanatec stand comes with whatever adaptor is needed and costs half of the WSP at $90?

Bringing this thread back from the dead. I currently have a DFGT and WheelStandPro. I've been happy with the setup for the 2 years I've been using it but I just ordered a G27. I contacted WSP and was told that they do not recommend using the DFGT stand for the G27 and that the adapter kits are out of stock until March. I could order another WSP at $180, ($60 more than what I paid for my current stand), but I'm seeing the Fanatec stand as a viable cost saving alternative. Are there any benefits to the WSP over the Fanatec stand? Any other options you guys would recommend? Anybody use a DFGT WSP with a G27 and think it's just fine?

I have the Omega GT stand and can reccomend that as you could later add a seat and it has no center pilar
Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, by the time you add shipping to the US, the Omega GT actually costs over $30 more than the WSP. I'm trying to find a way around spending another $200 since I just spent almost $300 on the G27 and GTEYE brake pedal spring.

Are there no stockists in america?

i use wheel stand pro and G27
it's easy to be put in the corner and flex .but it's so heavy to move....(heavy means steady to use :])
a problem is the H-gear is too high , i've no idea.

I am using a DFGT WSP with a G25. My "adapter kit" is a piece of 1/2 inch ply clamped between the wheel and the stand with a bit sticking out the side to mount the shifter on. It seems fine to me and cost nothing. It might not be perfect but it's worth trying before shelling out on a new stand.

Too late. I already ordered it. It's okay. I already have a buyer lined up for my old DFGT and WPS.

I am also looking for a wheel stand aswell, that Fanatec stand looks really good, if only they shipped to Egypt :(

I use this setup (previously DFGTand wheelstand pro) and I find it a perfect and "compact" solution. The only little drawback is that if you fold it, the main pole collides with brake pedal and cannot be folded all the way down. Nothing you cannot deal with though.

I upgraded my old G25 clamped onto an unsecured bookshelf hanging loosely over a piano stool , to a Thrustmaster and wheelstand pro v2, and all that is left for me to do, is get rid of my pesky chair that's still on wheels. It's worth the money, and the stand can accommodate either wheel out of the box. The thrustmaster wheel is not much better that the half costing logitech, but it is still 'a hobby' that ... took my money. excellent stand.
