These are old shots from between 2005 and 2009, but I'm looking to dig out GT4 later and get new content.

    Enjoy.

Taking advantage of the Today's Specials, I see.

Could've swore some of these were familiar, but considering when you joined, it's unlikely. Still, a nice stroll down memory lane!

I had an account here during the GT4 days if I recall.

Thank you guys. Falling back in love with it, for sure. I absolutely adore the rim selection and being able to fit used wheels from other brands shows just how big GT4 was, to circumvent a licensing minefield like that.

I love the atmosphere and feel of Gran Turismo 4. Even if it were a nightmare to navigate sometimes it was aesthetically pleasing all around and soothing. I think I should contribute to my own gallery looking at these photos.

    Great stuff.

Thank you @Suzumiya and yeah, the more playing this the merrier. Love looking at GT4 shots at the minute.

I don't know why, but even if it strived to be realistic, Gran Turismo 4 had this strange atmosphere. The ultra-realistic racing games like Forza, Assetto Corsa, and other all seem pretty bland visually in comparison.

It's a wonderful art direction. Cutting edge for its time, but somehow fairly timeless now over a decade later.

Like I said before, the art style is amazing. It's a sense of maturity and more softer, down to earth pallettes. GT5 and 6 will age horribly because of their stand out nature and shininess, but GT4 had always some ageless design...
