when PD will return to original payouts and XPs?

GT5 has been just about the only PS3 game I have been playing for the last 7 months.

Just today, I finally hit 10M credits for the first time. While I have about 700 cars, I don't have very many that cost more than 2M.

I am fine with this triple payout to finally enable me to get to 10M, and will deal with it when it goes away. But I am not going to play for 5 years straight just to get every car. I'll cut back at some point.

I agree with most here that the triple payouts should stay. Not because I'm greedy or anything, but because it's brought me back to GT. I haven't played in a long while because I saw no point. If I play GT it's because I like collecting cars, trying them out and so on. But what's the point when I have to grind like an animal just to buy 1 car.

👍 Exactly!

I wouldn't care much if the payouts were reverted. It would be convenient though if they kept the payouts as is.

I too like them where they are. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing the harder/"expert" challenges keep the high payouts and if they want to drop the payouts on the easier things like the Civic challenge, I'd be fine with that...

I just bought the game 8 days ago and after reading a few of the older angrier threads, sometimes I felt like I was cheating by grinding a few civic races to get the cash to buy the right cars/upgrades to do the other races/challenges. :)

I hope never.

Me too. Grinding only works when you have no life and play constantly. Those who contribute to society by working, exercising, and etc. have no time to grind

Just a side thought here, if we're getting new seasonals in 15 minutes or so and the prizes do revert, I'm going to load up the sarthe now and then disconnect so I can grind back to 20m before starting the new ones.

Who said anything about new seasonals in fifteen minutes?

they always refresh (if they refresh) at 4pm my time, the last 2 on wednesdays and previous ones on thursdays. Always 4pm.

:)I like the way it is now at last I can start getting those nice classic LM cars at 20 mill not far away from my first one now.

I too have come back to GT 5 after Shift 2 & Dirt 3, I also have the feeling that PD will be bringing some DLC at the back end of the year.

Though not sure if it will be new content or just upgrading the GT4 bits to the same leval as the Prem stuff.

Though it would be nice if they added a few new cars like a F50 GT or this years LMP Audi.

But the current pay out system make its more fun for as there was no way I was willing to spend days or months to get the way over priced 20 mill cars.

Now I can lets see what this week brings:)

I have only just returned to GT5 in the last few days, its barely been in my ps3 since it came out, mainly due to the fact that i took one look at the car prices versus prize money and thought...no way, that will take forever.

Having just found out about the increased prize money it gives me a real incentive to get back into the game. If they change it back I will be going back to f1 2010.

I Sure Want them to Keep Atleast 1 of them
3x.... Everything
or
Zero Mile/Half Price OCD (This 1 im hoping stays forever!)

All the overrated credits will let everybody build up their garage way too fast.
You have to realize that PD calculated that the collecting would take approx. 5 years.
So we only had to wait 1 more year for GT6...
But now everybody is spoiled with 1000 cars.

Actually, I am the type of guy that desires all 1000 cars. Were it up to me, id be glad to pay PD to grant me a chip or DLC that grants me access to the entire car collection of GT (with the exception of the collector items, I am content with not having those. )

If they did revert - which I doubt - then it would be nice to think there would be some kind of announcement or warning. I haven't done it myself, but I would imagine there are many people who empty their 'banks' in the dealerships safe in the knowledge that they can run the Seasonals to top it back up again. IMO it would be a little unreasonable to just change it unannounced - just imagine the endless threads moaning about it! ;)

They reverted back the last time they boosted the payout, so I see no reason to suspect they won't revert this time.

I don't expect it to last forever either. They did say "limited time" after all. Yet, I'd be pretty pissed off too if they did it unannounced, and I'd happily participate in all the moaning threads. If they'd tell me a week in advance, however, I wouldn't really see anything worth moaning about.

Because F1 has so many more car varieties

I'm expecting a new tiny update today or tomorrow for 3X credits and XP points, because new timetrial and drift events didn't show up

If the pay-outs stay, i'm okay.
I don't care much about XP, OCD and helmet's (don't mind either) but the prize-credits shouldn't be lowered !
Please no.
Thank you.
Goodbye.

I like the triple payouts too, and also hope they don't return to normal. Prior to this my biggest hangup with the game was how long it took to ear prize money for the cars I wanted. It was totally disheartening to know how much it would take to grind for one new car (yeah, I did it for the damn Peugeot 908 Lemans car though).

The bigger XP also helped me get to level 30 quicker, and as such earn the X2010.

So yeah, I'm in the camp that says it should remain indefinitely!

i wouldnt mind if they went back to regular price OCD cars, just as long as the "triple payouts" become "regular payouts"

If I could choose one to stay, my vote would be for the half price and more importantly brand new 0 mile OCD cars.

well yeah of course, the 0 miles is a necessity if it were to go back to regular prices

Are you trying to jinx me, bro? They better not, rockstar already did that to me yesterday.
