I just think about those who are starting out and don't have the opportunity to tune their cars for free like before...

Last time I checked, Praiano hasn't stopped anyone from enjoying all the free tunes available on GTPlanet, Youtube and other parts of the internet - made by many people. And he made some of his own tunes free in his garage thread too.

Uhh the con was for double the money of what the equipment actually cost, then proceeded to not provide free tunes(despite the donations being there so he could continue to provide them free) and then put them behind a paywall. Please use your brain

He did provide free tunes - for a long time after he upgraded his rig.

Even after starting Patreon, he made some of the tunes free.

Its hilarious that a guy is criticising him for putting tunes behind a paywall - while that same guy doing the criticising has links to his own Patreon page with tunes behind a paywall.

I'll give you a summary:

• Guy says his rig is broken (first lie)
• Turns out it's not broken but would like a better feel for the game with $4000 equipment(second lie) otherwise he's no longer going to play and make free tunes
• Equipment was actually $2000 worth so moderators stepped in
• Community comes together to raise funds so tunes can still be made and shared for free
• Wanted more money so made a Patreon to get more funds, said to those who couldn't afford it that he would still post some free tunes
• Realised it was always about the money and not the community so no more free tunes
• More Greed so offer two memberships options, the second being double the price for no extra benefits.
• Believes he is owed money from GTP for traffic generated.

Where have I done any of this? you mean the one tune I have behind a paywall? have I lied to the community about my actions?

You keep saying the moderators "stepped in".

What did they do? As far as I remember, they removed the donation button for a day or two and then reinstated it.

Spell it out, mate. Tell us exactly what wrongdoing the moderators found and what actions they took.

He was 100% honest about the fact that his G29 was old and dying and almost unusable.

Got any evidence to show that he was not telling the truth?

He did post free tunes for months after starting Patreon. At what point do you claim that he stopped releasing free tunes? I'm not sure of the details on that

This wasn't greed. Some of us suggested to him that we'd like to be able to support a bit more than the standard sub price of a pack of chewing gum per week. So he put up another support option for those who want to give a bit more per month.

What's the issue?

You just made that up. He made no such claim.

I have read and re-read this thread twice and all i see is assumptions and circumstantial evidence but NO actual proof, there is a major argument here between two trying to establish some truth without SUBSTANTIVE proof.
Please someone give proof to either of these tales, and I am asking for verifiable proof from somewhere with authority on this discrepancy.
