Often with these re-released titles stores do not get them until they order more stock, so for the time being the old ones stay until they sell off. Not sure if that is the case with GT5 XL.
"soon"
Yeah hopefully before the Mayan calendar runs out!!!
Rdp616I don't see why ANYONE would want to buy this. Especially if you have the game already with all the DLC added..Stupid.
Never, because it will start over,
I'm sure people who have never bought the game and people who don't have an internet connection on their PS3 would strongly disagree with you.

Surprised that the Shelf Date was supposed to be Jan 17.....and so far no one has any answers on where it is at...not Game stop or walmart or anyone????

Read my post again...I said "If you already have the game with all the DLC added"...

I will since I can't update my game. Even if I could, or even if I had all the DLC I would still buy it to have at least a secure v2.00 in case that I burn another PS3 since the updates get so heavy that it would be impossible to download them starting from V1.00.
You should check the thread that was made before XL was announced. That thread asks if you would buy a Spec II disc if released over here in the Americas. Most people said that they would get it.
you could update gt5 all the updates .. it would take a day or so just like burn out paradise.. with its 2 gig total updates.
Buy a new router , old modems and routers start to fail in anything past an hour's worth of downloads they start to mess up the coding.I've tried. The problem is that twice that I've done it, after almost ten hours it has failed resulting in a corrupted game file.
It wouldn't be worth the effort, because I don't feel that keeping your PS3 on for so long would be good for it. I already lost one PS3 due to prolonged playing.
I might pick this up just for the sake of collecting it..
