Which Audi cars are not 100% made by Audi?
SimonKNone of them. Audi build all of their own vehicles.
The V10 version has the engine from a Gallardo in it but the V10 version isn't in the game.I heard the Audi r8 had a lambo engine?

Oh yes sorry. I thought only the 4.2 was in the game for some weird reason....Yes it is. The 5.2 FSI quattro is the V10.
No. The Audi V8L was built by Steyr for example in the 90s.
symustafa1996It is. Go check the NCD. Well, Lamborghini is owned by Audi, so they are bound to share some parts. So part of Lamborghinis are Audi technology, and part of Audi technology is VW technology, and SEAT, Skoda and so on.
MagicalJaguarsSo do yawl see lambo as lambo or as VW?

Audi and Lamborghini are both owned by the Volkswagen Group, as is Seat and a number of other companies... even Porsche.

symustafa1996What I was trying to say was, Audi bought Lamborghini and Audi is in turn, owned by VW. They also own SEAT, Skoda, Bentley, Bugatti, Ducati, Scania and MAN. They are only merging with Porsche, I think.
As of September 2011, it owns 50.73% of the voting rights in Volkswagen AG [5] , and 50.1% of Porsche Zwischenholding GmbH, which owns 100% of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, the manufacturer of a range of sports cars and SUVs.
Bottom line here is that like most major auto manufacturers now days you'll find parts built by whatever factory makes the most economic sense to them. Rather than as the saying goes reinventing the wheel for every new model, it makes more fiscal sense and usually leads to a better product to use parts and share design work across all the corporations various brands.
I've had a few Audis on lifts to work on them, and a hell of a lot of the crap underneath says 'Made in Spain' and has the Seat 'S' branded on them. So I assume Audi don't make a lot of their own things, either just putting the pieces together or letting Seat do that too.
And the people talking about Lambo and Audi... have you never seen a Lambo? Lol, the interior parts are lifted straight out of an Audi, some VW parts too. The Gear systems are from Audi, and that includes the infamous drive train. Some people should not talk unless they are in the know, because it really makes you look like idiots.
symustafa1996I'm guessing they are sharing parts here. They share platforms too. Look at the new VW Up!, Skoda Citago and SEAT Mii. It's cheap and productive. And that makes the quality of Skodas and SEATs as good as Audis and VWs. I know VWs have the image of cheap quality budget cars, but they have improved a lot in recent years.
And the Lambo? Well, of course some parts are from Audi. And that's better than before Audi bought Lambo. The interiors of previous Lambos tend to fall apart. And actually, the opposite applies to the Gallardo and R8. The parts of the R8 are lifted from the Gallardo. In fact, the 5.2 R8 uses a detuned version of the Gallardo's engine. But of course, the Gallardo's engine if from the S8.
