Which car was your 1st purchase? (Or will be your 1st, if you don't have GT4 yet...)

I'm pretty happy to say i started with an S13, followed up by a 99' Impreza R which i managed to get to over 500brake - Just bought an HPI tuned Golf, which i must say was a bloody huge suprise in the power department.
 
I didn't feel like cheating even though I had like a trillion GT3 creds, so I bought an orange MR2 with around 34000 miles on it. My suggestion: it was good for a few races (Sunday Cup, etc.) but don't try to take it any further.
 
An MR2 1600 G-Limited SC'86. Modified slightly, and still a fun drive.
 
I didnt buy any car until the Japanese GT Champion, and the first car I use was the one i got from the license, the S14 from License IA, and i bought a used Subaru STI

same story here, its one of my favourite cars now, really good power.

never a better choice... i eventually bought two S.S versions (bloody expensive aswell)
one for drifting, the other for racing.
 
👍 I cheated with the credits transfer. I, as most who do, am starting to regret this move. Not enough to scrap my progress mind you. I bought the '70 Charger straight off and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the puke inducing top end.
I wish PD hadn't outfitted all or most of the muscle cars with short (numerically high) rear end ratios. You have to buy the racing tranny to make these things competetive.

Think I'll snag another memory card and start a new and more polished game. No license or credit transfers and as high a win ratio as I can maintain. 👍

MY first purchase was the Viper rt/10 since i saved up alot during the game then second car was skyline GTR and tuned both of those cars up to top HP and torque :)

long time no see huh! :)
I lost my gt3 many many months ago.... and just bought gt4 today.
I will start off with a slow car. maybe a civic. I like a challenge. :D
 
I had to start out with something close to what I had so i picked up this silvia, and it did well in most races with a few mods, I still have it but once I won the sileighty I used it from then on...

This was a big mistake.

Loved it in GT2 in early moderate races, couldn't cut the mustard in gt4 :sick:

Going nuts I didn't get an 80's RX7 to start

 
i bought an new Subaru impreza WRX STI spec C (with the X-tra 100K from GT3) tuned it to +/- 350 BHP en replaced the low spoiler with an high version en gave it some second hand rims from the subaru impreza 22b ( looks like gold BBS rims)

that is one first starter that is now maxed out en i still race with it....
 
Being this stupid mine was (in my main game) a mitsubishi Galant VR4
in my second game (no b-spec) no puchace yet, driving price cars so far
