So I had a go at replicating the 6:11 set by Bellof.

I took the Sauber C9 and pegged the power back to the suggested 635bhp.

No aids Inc ABS, with stock down force, a suspension/diff setup, hard slicks and top speed set to 199mph.

I managed a 6:14 on my first hot lap (online), this was a reasonably fast lap, with only a very small amount of holding back to ensure a clean, safe lap.

It seems the Sauber, in this configuration, is actually a surprisingly close match for replicating the record.

The only thing I don't like, is the fact I have to peg the Sauber back so much with the power limiter, it doesn't drive how it should.

I want to find somthing with a closer stock power output, so I can retain the character of the power delivery.

Great fun if anyone fancies it.

It is a Lotus 7 (Basically the Caterham) with all the style of Belgium.
I like the look of the car and it is different. Than the usual LM cars. The Panoz is ugly and the Storm I don't think I had go at the time in GT5.

It isn't an easy car to drive. and in GT5 I used one for the 24 hours of Nurburgring - which was extra hard as it was raining for most of the night and the car is ever so easy to spin out if you break rear traction. Managed to get the win with my eyeballs on stalks and my blood pH at 4.5
The engine note needs a lot of work, (Cycles badly at high revs)

The Miata, especially starting at night and seeing the virtual daybreak.

I do most of my testing on Nurb GP-D and my three fav cars so far (up to 392PP)
1. RUF BTR
2. Elise '11
3. A tuned Mazda 2 I own.

However my fav Nurb full car is the ARTA Grayiya '08.

This has the makings of an absolutely gorgeous photo. But then you get a bit distracted at the unnatural way that the light from the headlights stops shining, almost like a square is sitting on the hood. Likewise, the sun has a rectangular glow around it too. Strange. It's still a very, very nice photo! 👍

Thanks. I actually started to manipulate it in photoshop to fix the issues, but then I thought it's just an in game photo and just resized it. I might have to do something more with it.

Edit: From another point of view.

Personally, I think you should spend some time working on it in Photoshop...I really like the composition. This second photo is nice too. The Nordschleife at Dusk/Dawn... Does it get any better than that? 👍 :D
