Which cockpit view?

I think it depends on taste of individuals in a comfortable view for driving your own car... So there's not the "best" view that is particularly more splendid or better to look over than others. Personally, the bumper view is the most favored one for me in my opinion. :)

I'm not sure the exact name for this view, but I like the one that shows no car at all, and has the 2 gauges as actual guages and not a digital read-out. This works best for me (for some reason, not sure why). It shows a shorter view of the track though, like you're closer to the ground, as oposed to the view showing the whole car. I tried that one and it just screwed me right up.

When I do go into cockpit mode, I use the widest one. It allows me to see the most of the inside of the car. However, I think I drive faster when it's zoomed a little.

Which cockpit view do you think is the best, I usually use the "narrower" option.

Depends on your preferences. I prefer the Wide option just because I can see the entire cockpit. But at times I will have to zoom in to see the road better (e.g. Citroen GT Race Car ). If you're faster in the Narrower view, stay in that zoom.

I use Zoom for 90% of my cars. Some are on Wide due to small amounts of vision through the windshield.

I think it depends on the car. Some have readable guages and gear indicators, (Scud for example) which are a blast to dive in cockpit view. Extra zoom gives you more of a veiw out the windshield, but sometimes you can't see the guages in the dashboard.

I usually use standard. sometimes narrower.
The only problem is that you lose the wing mirrors.
