one question: can you upgrade cars in GT Concept?

Due to the lack of tracks (only 5, I heard), I have to vote on GT3....

I assume that GT4 will be much, much better

GT3 is way better than GTC. The main thing that GTC has that GT3 doesnt have is a buttload of concept cars.

That would be because it hasn't been released in the US, and indeed at this stage it appears Sony has no plans to release it in the US...

WaaaaH
I want my GT Concept!!!
I only want it for the mega money save tho.

Well its up to you if you want to spend the money on it plus on a mod chip too cuz you are gonna need one of those since it doesnt look like Sony is going to release GTC in the US.

I'm not too broken up about that. I hope they don't get in the habit of releasing 1/2 GT games. We had a close call with GT2000.

Same here, :gt:3 even though I own GTC it hasn't been as Spectacular as people thought :shakehead:

Think of GTC as 'Loads of Cars  and not enough tracks :thumbsdow: '

heh, no contest here. since some of u guys said

I didnt vote - I dont believe it a fair comparison... GT3 is a full outright game, GT-C is basically a lite-diet-lowfat-sugarfree version of GT3 and as such I dont believe you can compare or vote them off against each other.

They both have their own good and bad points... :D

GT3 is better, no question. GTC is an interesting and worthwhile exercise (although I can't help thinking the timing of the PAL release a month before TOCA Race Driver is a little suspicious) but it can't hold a candle to GT3.

sorry since this has nothing to do with the thread but i have to totally agree with what chris00764 put in the last post

GT3 is the the Beast :king:, GTC is only an add-on realistically...

Also the prices reflect which is the Biggest Game, so that's always worth considering when you pitch it up against Main Games..:D

hey whats the problem? u go buy chip, and then u can download ps2 games for free and burn onto cdr and play as much as you like and try gt3/gtc/gt2/gt1 and all other great ps2/ps games :)

I did it, its cool...and FREE :)

YZF Welcome to GT Planet ,

A Police Fraud Detective has been surfing in the Forums and would like a little chat with you :Police:,

'You have the right to remain a GT Planet Member, but your post will be taken in evidence and used against you in the Court of Law:'

Well I know loads of people do this chipping thing, but it must affect Sony?

The fewer people that buy games and the more that chip them :floppy:, means overall demand decreases .

Low demand  = Higher  Prices :2cents: for honest gamers...:shakehead

Anyone agree with that? :D

Alexy2k> One man won't change the whole world.... :)
(And if i do it, it doesn't mean that everybody will do it)

If you really want to support Sony, you can always buy original game! BTW i bought original GT3 too, because this game is too good not to be in your PS2, but i'm not going to buy original version of such games as GTC.For these things i d/l for free, try them IF i like them, buy original.

Is GTC up for grabs in the US already? My boss man needs me late at night so I am totally out of the game shopping loop. I am a fair judgement guy so I cant vote until I play GTC; but remember, I count polygons and can spot a polygonal artifact from 3 transformation matrices away, so my ruling will be more on a polygon/rendering scale than a fun to push buttons scale...

PS alexy you called it (a junior republican I must say. I am proud of you...) My only exception to the rule of not modding out your hardware, is a software accesibility condition. For example: I loved the cartoon "Robotech" and every machine introduced after the 3DO has promised me a "robotech" game. However, because of mainstream marketing in the USA, I can not access any "robotech" game because no one will translate them into english and sell them in the states. There are many franchise games and many more 'never heard of that' games like that. No developer/publisher will risk the investment on translation/copyright because they think the game wont sell state side. In these extreme cases, Hack your hardware to pieces if you need to. Just remember that any mods to your circuit board/ opening the case will void your warranty, and if the PS2 in question melts down and burns down your house, it is your fault...
