Nah i have one and you have to reset the pedals every single race otherwise they wont work

From another thread:
Im not trolling or stupid but i think you just might be. Lol jk i know this is for racing wheels but in my oppinion i wouldnt get one at all. the dualshock three is what i use as a wheel. So i qualify for using this thread

FFS.. You got no class kid.

What do you need the controller attached to it for?
I get some of the benefits of DFGT. For example a better placed d pad than both G27 and GT3 wheel (both are useless while racing). More buttons (DFGT on wheel adjustments) Plus I have two analog sticks; Ex: I mapped e-brakes in all four directions of the right analog. Don't have to look for the controller while in menus.
P.S Even with the controller at the center it stills feels lighter than the fat & heavy Gt3 wheel. I'm glad Fanatec decided to get away from Porsche fat wheels since you don't need an "air bag" space for a racing wheel.

Very true, in a perfect world I could afford more than one wheel, or all the wheels would be cross platform....could you imagine that? So much better.

I just wanted to give the OP my thought process on how I chose a wheel.

Well getting one wheel for all platforms is very awesome if you can go that route. Hm, I see you didn't exaggerate a GT3 + CSP is only like $330 straight up (clubsport package). That looks like a great deal. I paid bout $550 for my T500rs so that's a big difference.

I haven't checked this forum in like 3 months, and what's at the top of the list? "WHAT'S THE BEST WHEEL?" I love it.

Here is my standard reply for you:

Least money for great experience... DFGT

If you want a stick shift... G27 (my choice)

If you want the best wheel possible, don't care about the shifter and money is no object... T500RS

If you are in Darwin you will pay through the nose for a T500RS, and I would say Fanatec is out of the picture because whatever your preference they are fairly close to the Logitech equivalent, and shipping costs will make them super expensive in the top end.

Wow only in mature people say stuff like that , people like you! All of the ignorant and jealous people

Jealous of what??? a lyer??? no one knows what you play with now (after catching your lies) and no one will believe you... for all we know you dont even have an PS3... just a 10 year old PC with a dodgy connection so that you can lie around and troll the internet...

On one thread about wheels you claim to play with a DS3 and in another you claim to have CSP that dont work proper??? Im guessing the ignorante Jealous guy is you...

But Ya Pops allready said it better than me - You got no class kid...

In the UK right now the T500rs can be found for around £380.

The Fanatec GT2 clubsport pack is roughly about £480. Does include shifters however.

GT2 + CSP = around £415

GT3rs clubsport pack works out at roughly £310.

G27's can be had for £190-200.

I've added around £20 for Fanatec shipping. Not exact, but close enough.

If you've got the cash, you mostly play GT5/PC and you don't care about Xbox, the T500/G27 look like pretty good deals at the moment.
Personally, I'm screwed due to needing Xbox support and not having a spare £4-500 spare :(

As for the Kid of Klass... Tribolik said it all without the profanity I would have added ;)
