Isolated public roads that I know far too well and can see around in the corners on so they are clear. But I actually do racing as well, so the really limit wise stuff is done there. However, driving on snow tends to lend to knowing a cars limits at really low speed, and sometimes when you really don't want to be dealing with them, at all. Anything extreme that I have ever had to deal with while driving on active roads, with people or traffic around, has happened on the snow, and not intentionally.

Mine's Skyline's the BEST! 👍 But you can't have it, you know why?...Because it's..... Mine  not yours!!
I like the Zexel 👍 and Calsonic 👍
but,... for le$$, i'm on a tie (not one you wear around your neck) but, undecided, wether i prefer the R32 or R34 :irked: Maybe i'll flip a coin...? 👍

Yes, it is was the general public likes, but I race, and I HATE ABS systems and and power steering, and the public likes those.

Most things designed for the public are not good for an enthuisist. ABS now, the fairly modern stuff is nice, and not intrusive like it is on cars I can afford, but power steering drives me insane...

Yes, things will advance, and yes, they will appeal to the masses. But I am not the masses, so all that stuff can go to hell :p
DAMN DUDE YOU HATE POWERSTEERING? You gotta be joking me man! Even the very skilled race car drivers need/want it! I can understand if you dont want powersteering for a much more funner/harder day at the track but in real racing I am sure you would reallly appreciate it if you had it rather than not have it.

Depends on the car in way. Powersteering on a standard car lacks decent feedback, and thus reduces the information the driver has. The powersteering on true race cars is more advanced no doubt, allowing for a good deal of feedback. Again, I am refering to what the public gets.

Also, I learned without power steering, so it is what I am use to.

i think the the pennzoil is the fastest (wins every ai-race against other skylines, seen behind you in the "field")

but i like the calsonic most....

Yea you have a point about the feel throught the steering wheel, but as you know it varies more of the different cars and models types. Some cars car feel almost dead and haave no feedback in the wheels (like a subie liberty, cant remember which one it was that me and me dad took for a test drive), but there are also "public" cars which have a great deal of feeling put through the steering wheel and they have powersteering...

Great! Now PD will delay the game again, so he may add the "power steering on/off option" :banghead:
I don't need power steering when i'm racing :boggled:
Unless i'm racing in a Mac Truck

Phonypoly - Hahaha, nice. But seriously like you said, you wouldn't notice anything different. Plus powersteering does jack all once the cars moving (sorry does it makes some difference but not like "holy crap i cant get around the round about!"). :)

I have a Skyline vspec R34 and it has 1027hp and it's 1/4 mile time is better than some of my race cars like the C5R plus it can go about 240mph.

Yes, the Skyline rocks 👍 , but the CR5 has no turbo and @ 1032HP, it can also do 240MPH, 243MPH on a good day!
So, for the $$$, the Skyline is better.
Now, try it in a race, against the GT1 cars...
