Which version of FM6 will you be getting?

I got pCARS, the digital version and it pre-downloaded automatically. Game was ready to be played at 12:01 am. Well actually it's still unplayable but that's a whole other issue.

That is actually very helpful information. To be able to pre-load a game then actually play at midnight (like the good ole days) is a really good incentive. That is how I thought it would work but wasn't sure if that was actually how it was working. Thank you. Hmm now I am a little more temped to get the ultimate edition. Only bad thing is I wont get the Hellcat. hmm.

Hellcat is in the game anyway, only the liveries are pre order bonuses.

Also, 10 days early access for ultimate.

Oh nice! Hmm VERY tempted. I am leaning about 90% toward the ultimate. Wasn't aware the Hellcat was already in the game. In a game that has 5,000 vinyls, designs are easy to re-produce. Plus I don't even see a livery on the Gamestop Hellcat. Hmm

I will be getting the Ultimate Edition. I'm not to fond of Digital copies, but I've been warming up to it. Something about not having to switch out disks all the time is starting to catch with me :lol:. I usually dont spring for a car pass before I at least see what is in it, but my plan of just buying individual cars/packs has just ended up costing me more money. Probably wont end up preordering it until August, however.

You're welcome, you'll also love being able to switch games so quickly. It is ridiculous how lazy I've gotten in regards to switching discs. I hardly ever do it. I hate it! :lol:

I am pretty sold on this. So since its rare I ever buy digital games (only just bought Kameo this week for BC) where do you suggest I get this digital copy from? The Xbox store where I got kameo? I am about 98% ready to do this. Then just cancel my Gamestop pre-order.

Maybe I should visit the "Somebody talk me down" thread. :lol:

Yeah, I think I'm set on the Ultimate Edition. I'm hoping that news of a physical copy comes out, if not I don't mind.

You mentioned that the pre-order gives us access 10 days early but I think it is actually 5 days early. Unless the xbox store has a typo. Its says we can access F6 ultimate edtion on the 10th. If it was the 10th that would work out perfect since its just before the weekend. I could take that Friday the 11th off paid.

It's only 5 days for us in U.S but I believe it's more days than that for everyone else. I believe the Europe release is the 18th but I could be wrong.

F4 Limited Collectors Edition (Well worth the purchase)
F6 Ultimate edition (so far looks like it will be a great deal)

Good, since I'm holding off for that. GT, Forza, and MGS are the only series I really like to collect, so I like having the physical versions of each.

FM4's LCE was definitely worth it. FM6's is an easy choice for me, but wanting a physical copy is what has kept me from pre-ordering. Then again, I suppose there's no real way to do the Ultimate edition as a physical copy, yet still give the five day early access. And I'd really like to have that for design purposes...

When I found this on the pre-order web page, my decision was already made. I didn't play Horizon so I am eager to see these in FM6.
 
As there is plenty of time left and digital pre-orders aren't going anywhere, waiting on word for a physical limited edition/ultimate edition or at least an explanation from Turn 10 on how we can get ultimate edition from ordering the standard physical edition that retailers have now. Can we buy these and then upgrade? Need more info.

I'm sure MS'll let you purchase VIP status and Car Passes once the game comes out. They've done it for previous versions and'd be crazy not to.

Standard edition owners might miss out on the Fast and Furious car pack (that "not included in car pass" wording in the item description is a little confusing) and will definitely miss out on early access though. Also not sure if the launch day DLC pack (whose existence is sure to get people griping about "why wasn't it part of the game?") constitutes part of the 42 cars that come with the Car Pass or not.

But you should be able to buy a reasonable facsimile of the Ultimate Edition by getting a Standard disk plus VIP plus Car Pass.

Yeah, pretty sure that'll be the case. Guess I'll see what I'm going to miss out on. I just wished they'd have offered the console with an option for the Ultimate pack, though, I'd definitely have gotten Ultimate.

Oops sorry, completely misunderstood your post, please ignore the above. It wouldn't be unlike Game to have a complete stranglehold on the physical retail Forza sales in this country. If Tesco aren't selling it in advance then I doubt the other supermarkets'll get a look in. Perhaps after the game's released in September?

Actually you were right,they are digital only,I was looking for the Ultimate Edition,What I meant to say was Game only have the boggo version,looks like I'll be canceling my GAME order and getting it via the console itself.

Yeah, I must admit I'm a bit mingey when it comes to limited/special editions. My good lady is gradually dragging me (kicking and screaming) towards a more YOLO kind of outlook though :D

I forgot to say - when it comes and you're having the time of your life don't forget to thank your other half for talking you into it. You only live once.

Me, I just spent a grand on a 55" curved telly just to play racing games on. Can't quite stretch to a rig yet though. Baby steps...
