White stuff on Vinyl Stripes

Hey guys,

So I was cleaning the Mustang today, and I noticed that there are these water droplet shaped white residue spots all over the vinyl and I can't seem to get it off. Any ideas on what to do? Pics:

Looks like water beaded on the surface and the sun might have damaged it.

This happened to the stripes on my Cooper, I had to have the dealership buff the hell out of them to get them clean again (hooray warranty). They can be cleaned, you just need to really work at it.

Do you clean your car with the water hose?

The minerals in the water leave these stains.

A good polish and it should be good.

Clay bar can sometimes help, and grabbing a filter for the hose to do your final rinse can help as well.

Tried clay bay, didn't work, although there was a lot of black gunk that came off the stripes. I doubt its wax residue, although it could be some accidental ones. I'll try giving it a good polish.
