Me.

Well, have to wait until December, but count me in.

Played Forza Horizon at my cousin's X360 and loved it, so fun! Then FH2 and FM6 had me completely sold. I need these in my life!

Probably. Gonna hold out as late as I can to get the Ultimate Edition, then an XBone will follow sometime later. Not really sure where I'm going to put it yet.

I was a huge GT fan, had them all through 1-5 and played them to death, had all the forzas as well. I bought a ps3 for gt5, but hated it. The racing left me cold and the fact i'd laid out a large amount of money for a console solely to play a next generation game in which the majority of the car count was last gen was souring. I still had the ps3 when gt6 came out, but i couldn't bring myself to buy it. I sold both my ps3 and x360 and bought an xone and have never looked back. I will return to ps when GT gets it's act together. I still hold a candle for it. Good to see people are prepared to switch, won't get in from work till 9 tonight, bjt my ultimate of F6 will be waiting for me.

Against my better judgment, I bought an XBONE yesterday in anticipation of Forza 6. Didn't hurt my wallet as bad as I thought it would... $350 for the console (plus digital copies of AC4/ACU), another $30 for Rare Replay and $25 for the mandatory Play & Charge kit... coming out to a total of $405. Money I didn't need to spend, but it could've been worse.

When the price of FM6 drops and there's a wheel I'm willing to fork over the cash to use with FM solely. I won't be buying the 1 for it and I'll probably wait until my bro stops playing Halo in 2 to 4 years-ish. The online community sounds good though...

edit - I removed "stupid" after bro. don't know how it added that word in.

Welcome aboard Lain! Nice to see you around here.

I will be getting XBOX one at the end of October for Forza 6 and Project Cars. Still looking at wheel options including hacking the G27.

Same here as well, I played GT games since '98. I bought an Xbox 360 a few years ago with Forza 3 and 4. I loved those games but I still believed in PD so when GT6 came out I sold my 360 and got my self a DFGT (again) but I soon realized it was a mistake... :ouch:
As soon as I saw the new 1TB Xbox One Forza bundle announced I packed up my PS3 along with the wheel and sold them. :D

A bit of shame that there was no option to choose the Ultimate Edition with that console (I would have happily paid and extra $50 bucks for it :grumpy: ) but, from what I've seen so far, I'm sure I'll enjoy FM6 more than any GT games before.

Less than 2 weeks to go

That's Why I bought The 500GB Xbox One , I don't like Download Games So I purchased The XBox One separately, And And Bought Forza Motorsport 6 Disc from Game Stop, along with the Car Pass for $29.00, and VIP Pass for $19.00

I bought a PS4 when project CARS was released back in March, don't get me wrong I'm an long Gran Turismo buff, and when I saw The Forza 6 Car list, and the custom paint options, I couldn't believe what I saw, BMW 635, WHAT?? BMW 850 WHAT! And if they put the Porsche Pack in Forza 6 It's a done deal, I'm going to get an XBOX One, The 1TB-Limited-Edition-Forza-Motorsport-6-Bundle, and The Thrustmaster T300 plus The TX Servo base. I'm about to loose my mind, maybe I'll wait until after GT7 is released,:odd: I doubt it.

WOW! Well, I live in Japan and we only got the standard edition with this bundle for the same price... :grumpy:
Anyway, less than a week to go and I can play too
I'm still waiting on the wheel as I'm hoping for a cheaper FFB wheel to be released :nervous: I'm not happy to pay as much for the wheel as I paid for the console.... if nothing comes up in within a few months I might end up with a TX wheel though :D

Just for pCars? no way. and the way SMS mishandled the ports to the 1 and PS4 would have made me send them an angry letter. I won't be supporting them again after how they screwed the console users over like that. Imagine if they included the 360 and PS3 as was their initial plan. good pc sim, terrible developer for shoddy work they did in putting. They should have postponed the release of the console versions. You might want to look into other car games of pCars was your only purchase on the PS4. If that's the case and I were in your position, I'd sell that PS4 and use pCars as an spare case.

sorry, off-topic

I have Project CARS, Drive Club, and F1 2015, and Assetto Corsa is on the list for 2016, I really bought the PS4 just for GT7 , The other titles are just to pacify me until GT7 is released:rolleyes: but surprisingly I really enjoy P-CARS, and Driveclub, F1 was a little disappointing, but I'm a big Lewis Hamilton fan, So I play it on race day. LOL!

Thrustmaster Just Released The T150 Wheel for $200.00 USD With FFB 1080° Rotation, but it is for the PS4, maybe Thrustmaster will also do one for Xbox One.

phew That was close lol. I'm thinking GT won't release for another full year, give or take. That is my "educated" guess. that used to be a long time to wait, but not so much anymore as I wait to buy most games until their price depreciate. GT, GTA and being a team member for pCars are the main exceptions. I can't bring myself to buy MGS seeing as how it thee finale.

I will wait to see if the Licensing with EA and Porsche dissolves, if so I will wait for GT7, but if not, and Turn10 makes Porsche a DLC in Forza 6, I'm pulling the trigger and buying an Xbox One Forza6 Package the same day:lol:

Porsche is already confirmed for FM6 in 2016.

Wait, how expensive is the wheel setup you're getting and from where? I'm looking for something equivalent to or even a bit better than the G27.

I don't know much, if anything, about the newer wheels for this generation of consoles. I've had a DFGT and currently have a G27.

The TX servo base makes it (or simply is) compatible on both consoles? I presume the firmware upgrade will do the deed? I'm wondering since I will NEED TO get a 3 pedal setup and shifter. Being as frugal as I am and starting off with the DFGT for +18 months before the FFB gave in, I can hold off from completing the shifter and 3 pedal clutch setup, to be honest.

Or wait, it's because the T300 has a detachable steering wheel that you can just use on the X1/PC compatible TX base.

I seeeeee........ right?

I think I will wait until the day the Porsche DLC is available for download, pick it up with a XBOX One, Stuff just Got Real,

This Setup is $469.00 and you can use the wheel and pedals on the TX Base Servo for Forza 6, all you will need to add is a shifter for an additional $129.00

Jumped on the XBOX1 thing an just ordered the Forza L.E XB1 with the Game................

Bang goes me budget for the next few months :p

Me too, Just stepped in the door from Pre-Ordering Forza Motorsport 6 at Game Stop, I started to order the Forza L.E XB1, but it comes with the download version of Forza Motorsport 6, I'm old school, I like the disc, So I'm ordering The 500GB Xbox One, paid $10.00 more total, but to me it's worth it.:sly:👍

So now that NFS has been delayed on PC I'm considering buying an Xbone for that and Forza 6, probably won't keep it for long and will get a second hand one. One question though, is there any way I can use my G27? Also I don't need to pay an online subscription to play these games right?

Finally got my tracking number. Looks like my console will be getting here tomorrow. Then it's just a matter of waiting for the game to download. :nervous:

To those buying Xbox Ones, I highly suggest checking out EA Access!

You get:

Access to all games in the vault: (Full games that you download and play)
  • Dragon Age Inquisition
  • Titanfall
  • Fifa 15
  • Battlefield 4
  • Madden 15
  • Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
  • NHL 15
  • UFC
  • Need For Speed: Rivals
  • NBA Live 15
  • Peggle 2
  • FIFA 14
  • Madden 25
They have yet to ever remove a game from the vault since the service started.

Also:
  • 5+ hour trial access a week before any EA game releases to try out the full game without buying it.
  • 10% discount on all EA digital purchases on Xbox One including DLC and BF premium.
  • Any games you try before purchasing carry over your stats and progress, if you were going to buy it you now get early access.
For: $30 a year or $5 a month.

To play online, yes you require an Xbox Live gold subscription. However every current generation console requires a fee to play online multiplayer, at least with Xbox Live you're getting a service that improved over time. I would suggest looking for deals on annual gold subscriptions as they can get relatively cheap.

Unlike the Xbox 360 your gold is shared with anyone on your designated home console and if you go to a friends and you both play at the same time your account shares gold too. You can also share games with another person that owns an Xbox One and only one of you need to keep an active gold account for you both to have Xbox Live gold.

If you make your home console on his console and his home console your console then you will both share your digital games with each other. This effectively halves the price of any digital games you buy on Xbox One.

We can't use our old G27 on the current generation of consoles. Check the above posts (the posts above your first post) for more info about that.

PS4 and Xbox One requires an subscription to play online, but on the other hand, the A.I. is Soooooo much better in Project CARS and Forza Mototrsport 6 you don't really have to play online to get tough competition. Logitech G27 and G25 are history in Next Gen Consoles, If you want Force Feed Back on Xbox One

That's such a scam that older wheels don't work on next gen consoles, obviously so logitech can force people to buy the new version which is almost identical. Oh well F6 doesn't look like it needs a wheel to be enjoyed anyway, and ok so I don't need to pay for a sub if I just play offline? Cool, might grab a 500gb xbone soon 👍

If you're use to D-Pad Racing there is an option, Xbox One has a Non-Force Feed Back Wheel for $94.00, called The Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Racing Wheel, is a great option, over a D-pad, only $94.00 very precision, And you will need it when trying to hold a line in a curve, or driving a manual transmission.

I raced with HKS Hypermax III for years,
HKS Hipermax iii.jpg
until I got a Non-FFB Thrustmaster T80 for my Ps3 and PS4 Sims, and never had more fun in driving games. full immersion into the racing experience, The only thing you will regret is not investing into a wheel sooner.

Yeah but I've already got a g27 and do some serious sim racing on PC, obviously I'm not going to buy a cheap wheel just to play Forza :)

I'm looking forward to buy the Xbox One to play Forza 6 and Horizon 2. Have to wait until the end of the year to gather some sufficient funds first! Might as well pick up the Xbox One Forza 6 bundle eh?

Is there a Complete Edition of the Horizon 2 yet? Does the Season Pass for H2 costs the same as it was when it came out or is there a discount?
