i say Colts vs. either philly, or GB is who i want. prob. philly though. im starting to doubt cowboys will even make it the wild card with the way theyre playing. theyre only one game ahead of green bay and GB Is a better team. that. dallas.

The Cowboys are 3 and 4 in their last 7 games, they are on a downward spiral to destruction. Just face up to it.

As far as the SuperBowl goes, I think the Indianapolis Colts and the Philedelphia Eagles are the most obvious candidates at the time being.

EDIT: I wish the Broncos were going, but they have Indy and Green Bay, which if they lose to Indy and win against Green Bay they still have a chance at the AFC Wildcard.

it should be fairly safe to start this thread back up since the rosters should only have minor changes.

i say the raiders will win. they have gotten 2 of the best DT's in the game and the rest of their defense is ok. they still have gannon and brown and porter so their passing game should be good still.

The Raiders aren't going anywhere. Rich Gannon is too old, Jerry Rice is too old, Tim Brown is too old. They aren't going to be magically better than their 4-12 season last year just because they picked up Warren Sapp and Ted Washington.

dude. gannon and tuiassosopo(sp) were injured all last year. they were using rick mirer(their 3rd string qb) most of the season. and rice retired at the end of last season. they will at least make the playoffs if everyone doesnt get hurt or have a heart attack.

most of the rest of the raiders team would be at that age where it is ok to retire. the only thing the raiders will be missing this year will be the gannon to rice throws all the time, but i think brown will be able to take rice's position(rice got pretty bad as he got old). jerry porter could probably even take over rice's spot too.

did you hear the vikings got brock lesnar for a defensive linemen?

Tim Brown is 38 years old, and I bet he gets released by the Raiders very soon. His career is basically over.

Yeah, I'm eager to see what happens with Brock Lesnar. He seems to be one hell of an athlete. I bet it'll take him a couple years before he gets the hang of it.

ok nvm, i cannot find it. i sware i heard that somewhere when football season was finished.

I don't really know if Brock will be a good linemen. i think he would be better at LB or fullback. he seems like he would be a hard hitting cb be i don't think he is fast enough to handle some of the WR's. if he actually gets to play he should cause some fumbles from the qb.

the raiders are tat the time when they need to fire all people over 30 and completely rebuild their team. its like come on, half their team is 35 or older and their newly FA picked people are like 40 as it is.
