Who's over 40

I'm not 40, I'm 26, but I love playing with you older guys much more than the young kids who're online. Someone ought to organize a 40+ group and leave an exception for me to join as well.

I am 56 no to far away from 57. Gran Turismo was my first adventure into video games. I have been a GT'er since GT1. I too am on disabilty so I have way more free time than most.

I was blessed to race in real life in the SCCA. I also have been an engine builder and mechanic. My son and I now race karts on dirt.

I am glad to see a few in my age group as well as those 40 and above.

I'm afraid I won't be able to join this club until GT6 comes out. Still have 3.5 years to go. My oldest is 10.5 years old and just recently discovered she has an opinion, ON EVERYTHING. She has her mothers personality so I get to her her opinion constantly(and it's always right). I feel older than I am.

I'll be 39 in a few months. Been playing Gt since GT2, and GT5 is the game I play 90% of the time, and GT is the only reason I bought a PS1, 2 or 3 for that matter.
I guess this is the most mature game I encountered for Playstation in general, so it shouldn't surprise me if the average gamer in Gtplanet is above the age of other games...

Over 40 by a few years. I started playing with consoles in the 70s when it was just the black and white Pong style games.

I think my first racing game was Revs on the BBC micro.

I saw TOCA (is that what's become BTCC?) on a PS and a few weeks later bought the PS but went for GT instead.

Sadly I don't get much time to play with all the kids and work........

I love F1 and the WRC but what I like about GT is that you can race with ordinary cars that I have either owned myself or might actually buy :-)

Come to the Parity League, 50% of us are older than you and we are definitly seasonned.

Like many here, I started with GT3, and at this point, after trying PC sims and I Racing, I am almost exclusive to GT5. No interest in non racing games.
