Why delete my thread?

I get a mod moaning at me constantly because I don't use proper grammar or capitals. Sorry I forget to do it sometimes. Mods are so strict here they think they are english teachers or what?

That is why they locked your threads. They didn't do it to be grammar nazis, they did it to teach you how to use the forums. And it looks like it worked.

There are many people who visit GTP who speak English as a second or third language. Being strict on grammar for the people who speak English as their first language keeps those foreign members from getting confused when they browse GTP.

Maybe we should all start writing in our first language? I mean, if you're too lazy to use proper grammar, then other members are allowed to be lazy as well and start writing in their first language. (no pun intended, just an observation).

Mmm, lijkt me geen slecht idee. Vanaf nu enkel nog in het Nederlands schrijven. Waarschijnlijk zullen er nu sommige leden deze tekst kopiëren in een vertaalprogramma.

Take it from someone who has first hand experience: Use proper English and mods won't bother you. I learned that the hard way. And since you obviously CAN use proper grammar, why not do so in the first place?

Post things in the right place. Use existing threads where possible. Use proper grammar.
