I think if the OP was talking about being in Dirty NASCAR rooms, or dirty rooms in general, the OP wouldn't be wondering about why someone's ramming them.

The OP was talking about the route X track so I was guessing as to why someone would be ramming him all the way around the track. With the lack of details from the OP it seems like a legitimate guess.

Besides, if you don't like what is going on behind you just move over and let the other car go.

Certainly I have a better solution than that... if you don't like what's going on behind you - don't race again with those you find annoying.
There's plenty of cool racers to race with, no point in racing with people you have to move over & let pass you in a race, because they're being nutballs. I personally don't consider it good track etiquette to attempt to win a race by annoying the hell out of all cars ahead of me so badly they just let me win to get me to stop being a nuisance & pest.

They're pricks! I find that there are some immature people that spend too much time in on-line lobbies and get bored quick/low attention span. The only thing they can do for their own amusement is to ram and cause problems with everyone else.

You need to find a more mature lobby. Sometimes you can just go by the room name/description, but not always. I'd do a race, if I find the room is kidding around too much and aren't serious enough, I'd leave and move on to another room. Another choice is to find single racers from each race you've done, friend them, and make a room with only those people. Sorry, I remember someone saying that last part, credits to you!

I cant stand when you get in a room and all everyone wants to do is slam you in the turns to make you go off track, I love tight clean racing but its so hard to find on gt5 honestly it is. When I do find a clean room I just add the host so I can continue racing in his lobbies.

When they do it on purpose, it's almost certain they'll go offtrack sometime...
Just let them pass and keep doing your best racing... you'll see the bumpy-guy offtrack on a wall before the race finish...

And if the room is composed of good racing gentlemen who have racing ethics, the troll will get kicked.

usually they are just kids, who still dont know what real world is.. they just need a kick (out of a lobby)
