Seriously who was the genius behind taking out the force feedback on the rumble strips and the bumpy banks for the Nurburgring.
Unbelievable

What do you mean? For my DFGT, I could feel every centimeter of the rumble strip as I leap over them at high speeds.. Or do you mean the DS3?
I'm using the g25 and some strips have feed back but most have zero feedback while the visual is showing the car shake.
The hard Nurb banks now have zero vibration
I use the G25 and there has been no change.
One has always been missing - the kerb on the outside of Brunnchen, which only gives a vibration once you're eight feet off the track, rather than on the kerb where it should be. Otherwise, no vibration issues here.
I did the Ring 24hr with the most recent game version.
Interesting. Perhaps the supposed "weakened" force feedback is just the result of a placebo effect.I use the G25 and there has been no change.

That was introduced in 2.04 patch because kids complained wheels shaking in the straights.
It was introduced because the combination of DFGT and F1 resulted on an uber harsh spiky undriveable FFB pre 2.04. So, as everything with PD they fixed that and broke something else. That was introduced in 2.04 patch because kids complained wheels shaking in the straights. FFB sucks for me after 2.04 patch.

Of course now it is very easy to improve FFB for GT6 and everybody will notice the difference![]()
Keep in mind though as someone said above that not all "rumble strips" are the same, some are virtually flat and just mark the edge of the road, whilst others are raised curbs or saw-toothed nastyness and in a real world scenario can finish off your suspension (as we saw with Massa not too long ago, forget where?)
Or even better do like most Pc Sims, give us a controller.ini with all the FFB values available for tweaking. Gt5 is no different, it could have it anytime, it's PD the problem.Biggest problem in console games is that developers do not give us options. They just still stereotype console gamers to be very different from PC gamers. It would be simple thing to have both FFB models available for player to choose from. Better still they should have changed the FFB ONLY for F1 cars! Or better still, separate rumble strip FFB as own slider.

It seems like people using DFGT driver which includes the CSW are fine but people using G25 or G27 are royally screwed
Some have it and some dont... dont ask me why... at first I though, well ones are sort of like a saw and you get the fell others are just sort of flat and you dont but then I realized that even though you could ear the saw on the tyres and see it on some rumble strips you dont feel a thing... same goes for the cobblestone stone road in the Rome circuit... in GT3 you could really feel it through the FFB in GT5 you can only ear it... a bit of a fail if you ask me.
DFGT by the way.
