Wich cars do you think that are the most under/overrated?

Underrated: Dome Zero. This little car is a blast. Also, the aerodynamics must be fantastic because mine does 187 mph with only 248 hp.
 
To be honest, the volvo c30 is amazing, i dont usually like hatchbacks, but this car in stock form and highly modified, its just sooooo fun to drive. amazing.
 
I don't understand how people say the X2010 is overrated. The most overrated car in the game is probably the Veyron. The Escudo is a bit overrated as well - despite its awesomeness I don't understand how it's PP rating is higher than the Nissan R92CP Race Car, Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car and many other Le Mans race cars.

Underrated cars? NSX (but they're too many of them), 370z, Lotus Elise.

Overrated: Like everyone else said, the Veyron. Good for straights but can't barely turn at all. 👎

Underrated: The Suzuki GSX-R/4 Concept. I seriously underestimated this car when i let Bob test it in the Supercar Festival Event. He was about 29 seconds ahead of the Bob who was second and he was driving a McLaren F1. :crazy:
 
Definitely the X2010 is over rated, haven't driven it after winning the challenges.

And I don't know how under rated it is but the Lotus Elise 111R (RM).
I did a 1 lap race around Nurburgring up against 908's and the like and ended up 4th by about a second behind the lead car(s).
Purely because I got swamped on the back straight but the big boys had no chance around the rest of the track. Surprised by how much of the time you can keep the throttle pinned in this little thing.

I don't see many people talking about the Subaru Impreza '05 RM. You couldn't spin out in this car if you tried. It accelerates faster than anything else in its PP range and corners like it's on rails. You can be so aggressive with this car; just throw it around, don't worry, you won't crash. No matter what, you'll always get out of the corners faster than your competition. I almost feel like I'm cheating when I use this car.

Mazda RX7 FD3S Spirit R
Acura NSX
Honda NSX
Lotus Elise 04

Underrated
Toyota Supra 3.0 GT Twin Turbo (JZA70)

I think that the group C cars are overrated.

I seriously doubt that a Toyota 88C could match the pace of an 2010 908. Seriously, the Group C cars barely managed lap times of 3:17 (record is 3:15.04 with a XJR9) on the circuit, which had NO chicanes on the main straight back then, they were added in 1990 IIRC.

The 908 did a 3:18.513 last year.

Yes, but in GT5 a Minolta 88C or Sauber C9 matches modern LMP1s.

I also have to add one car to the underated list:

The Lancia Delta. One of the most awesome cars ever made. Sadly, I have yet to see someone else then me driving this car online.
 
Another (possibly) underrated car: Acura NSX '91 RM

I've only seen others using it rarely, it's one of my favorite handling cars. Also managed to absolutely dominate a 400hp 2 lap race aroung Nurby using it, recording a 6:37 as my fastest lap:D
 
Overated... can't think of any at all... Maybe the X2010 like you said...

BUT...

Underated... I think the Veyron is... everyone talks crap about this car but it's good enough to crush LMP and Group C cars if you know how to push it to the max :)

I didn't think much of it either until I saw my lap times. Its handling and cornering performance is great as it is a Le Mans Prototype. It beats the ZR-1 RM on many tracks (just not the high speed ones).

It's good enough to crush LMP and Group C cars only when they're being driven by AI or bad drivers. The Veyron is a piece of crap. I'm not sure how the X2010 is overrated.
 
Overrated: Corvette ZR1 RM in a way. There's no way a GT3 car is keeping up with LMP cars like R10s and 908s.

Underrated: BMW M5, this thing is a monster. Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4, good handling and extremely cheap for what you get. 20,000 on used lot and can tune it to 700 HP. Blows the doors off rear wheel supercars.
 
Overrated;Veyron,R35 GTR(it's good,but some aspects arent up to the hype)
Underrated;Honda CR-Z,C5 Z06,C6 Z06,SVT cobra R,Murcielago LP640,Ferrari F40(fantastic car)
 
Underrated: Trial Celica, Amuse S2000 R1/-Street Version (both)
All 3 handle like a dream stock (didn´t tune them).

Underrated is underused in this example.

For an overrated car there is just one: ZR1 RM. It´s seriously way overpowered/-rated for me, because of the AI xD If the AI would be just a bit better you could never beat LMP´s with it ;)

Overrated - X1. God... why did this car have to be in this game? Would be so much better without it. They should've not done this stupid Vettle Challenge crap and instead spent the time making the X1 building a premium version of the Bugatti Veyron. Then they could use it as an award for a Bugatti challenge event that should replace X1.

Underrated - Mercedes Benz SL600. Doesn't look like it would be capable and I even painted mine a really boring, grandpa-ish color to make it even more decieving. I think when people see it, they think heavy, sluggish, barrell rolling grand tourer... But what it really is, IMO, is a sophisticated Viper ACR with all the power but with control. Absolute thrill to drive every time. 1,000hp, top speeds of 265mph+, and handles as deligently as any other FRWD layout supercar.

The SL600 tunes to 1,000 horsepower? Are you sure you don't mean the SL65 AMG? That starts at 600 and tunes to 1,000. But I don't see how either of the SL600's in the game could tune from 400 and 500, respectively, up to 1,000....

Given enough boost and running on AvGas, even a Civic could put out 1000hp... At least for a little while.

I seem to do better with the SuperVeloce and McLaren F1 (when all are fully tuned). I'll find out the truth when I take them all to Nordschleife I suppose. Another underrated car I've discovered is the RE Amemiya Amemiya FD3S RX-7.
