The answer is we do not know, it's possible but don't count on it, that way it'll be a big surprise if it is. :)

PS Prepare to be b!tched at and flamed by a load of moaners.

Moan Moan Moan b!itch.........J/k
But seriously i hope they include it. It looks like an amazing track...... i can only imagine what it'd be like driving an amuse s2000 or a Zonda or even a GT1 on it.

This track would be awesome!! but if only it was the O.G track, without those nasty chicanes on the Mulsanne Straight, oh and if they include that porsche from the le mans that was also in the Le Mans movie...AWESOME!!!

yes, yes it will be.

If anyone does not believe me, I'll bet you 5 bucks over pay pal. And we'll see come its release

Oh... almost everyone one hopes GT4 will include Le Mans Circuit... so do I!
I want to drive my 787B on the Le Mans Circuit.
If a 24-hour race exists in the game, it will be extremely exciting!

I don't knwo if the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) will let anyone use their circuit. They've done it only once, and it was for quite a bad game, named LeMans. But I sure hope they will let PD include both variations, with chicanes, and without chicanes, for old school races at Le Mans :)

If indeed the track is included (here's hoping) I wouldn't mind a 2-hour enduro there; preferably at dusk, like at Grand Valley Speedway II, only a little brighter.

This topic is going to be an own fest against you, Hikari. We've had quite a few discussions about Le Mans in GT4, myself included. We're all pretty big on talking about stuff already mentioned, so if the thread gets locked, this will kind of be a lesson you'll have to eventually learn so that things don't get heated in the future.

_aj is right on this one.

OK. -v- And this thread is just for a question to ask originally.

Let's hope Le Mans will be in, along with Spa- francorchamps.

The Pescarolo-car is sponsored by GT and it did indeed race at Le Mans and
at the tracks visited by the Le Mans Endurance Series, being Monza, Spa,
Silverstone and the Nurburgring gp-track so...

A porsche 917 , Kaz, if you read this, pleaaaaase

Lets hope it is in. I would love an enduro there. Online racing would be mad there too!:D

The LeMans track in the self-titled game wasn't even the full length version as the lap times should have been over 3 minutes whereas if memory serves me correctly, it was around 2 minutes for the lap.

They said they would unveil something new at the Tokyo Game Show so who knows,it might be Le Mans.I actually just drove on Le Mans wth the Audi R8 and i have to say it's an awesome track(not in GT4 but i F1 Challenge).

If the Le-mans track is included in gt4, i hope the two turns on the long straight is gone so i can test my top speed with cars on pretty small roads. That whould be awsome! Just like the old days lemans, some cars at that time went over 300km/h(190mph) , if not pretty near 400km/h(240mph)..but im not sure if it was that fast, i dont remember.

In 1988, a WM Peugeot P88 was clocked at 405km/h. It was specifically designed for a target speed of 400km/h. It was early evening when the speed was achieved (nice cool dense air for the turbo). It featured partially enclosed front wheels and fully enclosed rear wheels, along other low drag aerodynamic features... This car was used when regulators argued that speeds at Le Mans needed to be reduced, as a result Mulsanne Straight was reconfigured in 1990 include the 'two chicanes' we now know today.

Le Mans 24 Hour for dreamcast +PS2 included the famous circuit in full (it was also modelled in great detail with no popup). As for the lap times, they were close to real world times. Here’s hoping the ACO were feeling benevolent when PD came knocking…

Surely this statement is a contradiction in terms?

...with only 6 cars on the circuit you could literally 'race' for hours without coming accross another car!

I have allready driven the Le Mans circuit in a demo we have at work the detail is just as good as the Nordshleife. I drove a BMW V12 LMR but I don't remember my lap time but will see if I can pop up some pictures next week. 👍

If there is a 24 Hour race, there needs to be a save race point in the pits every two hours, so that we can do the race in 12 sittings.

Edit: GRogall, have you hacked Lemans out of the BMW dealer demo?
Tell us more….the cars, tracks and features available at work...

Thanks for that Samberto, I have only played it on the PSOne myself. I didn't realise that the PS2 version had the full length track.

Wow, interesting! I dont want a puncture, like the (Toyota GT1 TS020) did a few years ago, tho he manage to stay on track and avoid collition. But it was when the "2" corners existed. What whould happen if you where driven in 400km/h and got a puncture.

that would be the biggest news yet for me,,, Yeah, lets see those shots

b

super supra: They didn't have to worry about punctures... as soon as they achieved the 400km/h, they told the driver to return to the pits... they parked the car up and for the rest of the 24hrs celebrated at a local pub... they had achieved their goal for the race...

Well, I personnaly think taht the delay PD faced because of the online mode gave them some time and opportunities to include some extra tracks and extra cars in the game. My guess is that Le Mans may be one of these extras( as Lambos, Ferraris and Porsches and other car dealers might be)

See ya :sly:
