Along with many of what people have mentioned, I would like a user defined online garage to specify/restrict racers in my lobby to using my specific cars that I have created/modded. (similar to the default recommended garage)

As an example if I have 3 tuned cars modded to my spec, in my GT Life garage I would like any person in my lobby to be able to use any of those 3 cars in an online race without first having to buy those cars and mod them to the same spec. A feature like this would make organising online events with buddies or GTP members much easier.

Imagine, I create a class of car, say 10 different NA 2 litre cars, with various mods, but all cars have a similar perfromance. I set these cars to be available via my online garage in the lobby, anybody joining my room can only select those 10 cars. It would be great, and make interesting competitve racing much more likely.

They said that the money boosts from races will only last till 31 January. So expect an update for those.

That is probably the easiest and best way to do it. Good idea

If a feature like this arrives, then I will go off and create a gazillion different classes of cars specifically with the purpose of creating great online races/series.

Something like this would be good for any official GTP races/series that are in the pipeline.

Definitely need a quick oil change option somewhere. Although I question the need to need to "manually" change the oil at all. Why not just put the purchased car at its rated power and assume garage gnomes tend to the oil while you are sleeping?

I like Pappaclart's suggestion... at least multiple tuning files saves would be a big step in the right direction so I can set up spec races without having to mess with an existing set up every time... or buying a whole new car.

I'd like to see more offline events, perhaps a rally racing event category like in GT3, and more single races added to events like the Supercar Nostalgia challenge.

If I recall the wording was never so specific... it was more "it could be weekly or monthly" as in it could even be that often! And then later he said "if we got an update a month that would be good" as if he was scaling it back to say he would be happy/impressed with as often as monthly.

Those are paraphrases BTW but pretty much what I recall him saying.

Yes, I believe you are correct. Updates could come at any frequency, but Kaz would at least like to do them monthly.

I thought the number box in the top right of the screen was the days passed. Maybe it's something else though, I just just assumed it was the in-game days.

I expect a patch some time around mid january.
These are the things that comes to my mind after having spent several hours with version 1.05.

Problems I would like to see fixed:
-Corrected specifications for some cars. Example: Citroën Xantia 3.0i V6 (This car has 5MT transmission but in the game it has a 4MT)
-Online stability. I've experienced some lock ups recently after the room host has started a race. At this point quitting the game seems to be the only solution.
-The main menu does not always load a background image / animation when the game has been started up.
-Karting Special Event: The last karts in a race always remain on "running" status after a race has finished. I think the Top Gear Special Event has the same bug.
-Volkswagen's Soft Blue paint item should be fixed. At the moment it mostly looks like some sort of silver.
-The last info box for the B-Spec introduction tutorial should be changed. ("Direct your B-Spec drivers well to increase their driver class". None of our actions seem to affect the driver class of B-Spec drivers.)

Improvements I would like to see:
-Shadows.
-Screen tearing.
-Select standard cars updated to premium cars.
-Improved textures on some standard cars such as Acura CL, Dodge RAM, Citroën C3 etc.
-Fully customizable gear ratios.
-Permanent time trial and drift trial leaderboards.

I would like for the game to save my best lap times on tracks, maybe in general and also for each specific car. The last one may be difficult for them though.

This alone would fix a lot of the other requests (the shared garage, specific tune for online, etc.), and would make it pretty simple to set an online race without having to restrict the vehicle choice for everyone. I, personally, am a fan of spec racing, but I know a lot of people want to race their car but still have a good race.

As has been mentioned, fully customizable gear ratios.
I'd like the B-Spec instruction "maintain pace" to actually mean, "maintain current pace", Not "fall asleep if i'm not in the room holding your hand".
There are also some horrendous jagged shadowing, especially on cars going round bends.
An option for the garage to perform background maintenance (wash and oil change only) on cars you have just finished using. something like, wash and oil change after X-amount of miles or after every race would save on wasted time doing this manually.
