Banned from what exactly? If you mean from online driving, I hope so. The line for a class action lawsuit forms here.

I can't believe this is happening again with a new car. :( I hope PD will patch it.

Yes, you will be foreverially perma-banned from all Sony products that utilize online function.

And how would they find out and ban you if it's all done whilst signed out of psn when doing the glitch??

Surprising stuff! A Shocker actually.

It's enticing to get so many credits but the fun in earning credits is much more enticing.

So won't go for this method.

Buy the BMW, its only 125,000 CR, That will get you 20,000,000 CR, Then buy 165 more BMW's. That will get you 3.2 Billion CR. Then buy an Acura Integra Type R '01.(Phoenix Yellow), Because you would never had bought it before you had 3.2 Billion CR.

I gotta stop posting here it's slowing me down buying cars.

Lol first was the AMG VGT now this. This might actually be pretty hard to patch, I mean its in the save data and it exists after a patch. Unless they lock our saves to the actual patch number thats the only thing I see it working as.

I understand PD getting hurt they're losing MT money, but its not like these cars getting online will ruin the balance of it. Driver skill and technique still goes into play. Either that or you can set a PP and Car Restriction in the lobby. Even if a person has a XJ13 ChromeLine, its worthless if it crashes at every corner apex because it is driven by an incomptent driver.

so i will get banned?

None of us work at PD so we can't really tell you. My chances are on no, unless you blatantly make it obvious, and go tell everyone or call PD and tell them you did the glitch. Its a game, not the NSA and Homeland, so they won't be peeping on your screen.

There is a chance of loosing the anniversary cars, so I am staying away from this and earning money the old fashioned way.

umm no chance of losing Anniversary Cars. I pre-ordered, got a patch that said "hey here is a Merc and BMW, THAT YOU CAN BUY, For real money. BTW you sell it back for more.

Thanks PD.

How would you get banned from doing the glitch if you're not online? Plus they can't patch it since it involves going back to version 1.00.

just 20 mil or something

No they increased the cap in money so...

I don't see why people are worried about glitch exploits and the fact this curious person found it with some manipulation of the game is quite cool. It seems in the box thinkers don't like those who think outside of said box.

Not sure I would do this as I love to grind but I'm sure this is not available if I wanted to anyway since I purchased the online version of the game, amirite?

Deleting the game data and selling a car from your garage are not against any rules.

Not if you were selling a normal car. Selling a car not present in the game prepatch in order take advantage of unintential coding gaps is an expoit. And PD should be able to block it by altering cars not present at release to make them non-sellable. Which would kinda suck but make sense. Or they could implement a tag on your save game preventing you from selling any cars if your game isnt updated to the current version. At a minimum they could scan the transaction history of any profike logging into the online servers and deal with exploiters however they see fit. Be it bans or negative credit balances. If you think youre untouchable youre wrong. And considering the resources theyve put into the cash shop youre a fool if you think they arent going to protect their investment and a major source of cash flow.

I know they will do something to stop it. But banning... what for? This doesn't go beyond the game and console functions. There's no hacking or extraneous software used. I don't think there's an actual violation of their usage policy. If a game has functions that can be used in an unprofitable way for its developers - this is their own problem, not player's.
