Often it depends on the context. But here are some words I don't like the sound of:

    Premium
    Exclusive
    Luxury
    Community
    Synergy
    Superstar
    Contemporary
    Moist

No curse words, no neologisms. Your turn.

Sound of? Do you mean the pronunciation? Why?

"Vedremo", the italian for "We'll see".
My ex-gf overused word when I was asking questions like "would you like to hang out this evening?", usually ended with a negative response.
This is now banned from my vocabulary

Quiet. It's the worst word for me.

    And Brony.

I don't like when people say "motor" when talking about engines. V8 motor, V12 motor, and the worst are rotary motor or boxer motor. Just doesn't sound right. If its for electric motors that's one thing, but internal combustion ENGINES should be called engines IMO. All personal preference, though.

How are you here? On the motor!

    edit;
Or; the motor of my motor is defective!

Chuckle, chuckling, chuckled, etc. Just typing it out or hearing someone use any one of those in a conversation makes me cringe.

    Also:
This too. With the exception of @hsv's avatar.

When I'm having a horrible day and someone ALWAYS says "That's just some bad luck." -sigh-

I hate wicked (as it's now somehow a Maine "thing" to say), epic, sick, and nasty. Might just be because I hang out with the "tuner" crowd it sucks.

Actually, I hate the word cookie, now that you mention it. Not the products, just the word.

It's probably being marketed to both Brits and Americans.
