It's great to see all the different competitions for GT4 which are on at the moment. I'll pick something for this when I next have the opportunity.

I'll take the Renault 5 Turbo 1980 -- it seemed to catch my eye as I was looking through the vehicles.

Looks like a good event!

Awesome, I love my hot hatches!

Could I please have the 2003 Renault Clio Renault Sport V6 Phase 2?

"You can tune your car as long as you follow rules:
--- up to 300 hp (measured by pre-race car settings screen) (this does not affect oiling, in other words muffler/engine/turbo parts must stay below 300, oiling doesn't have to.)"

You realize that, this rule makes using a Used car (with black oil) more attractive as they, get a 5% IIRC HP increase after an oil change, while from memory its only 2% for new cars. So in 'theory' you could tune a Used car to 299HP then perform an oil change, to give it 314HP.
Is there an reason you're not just making the max 300HP at all times based on the garage screen HP value?
Also there's no mention of non HP tuning, weight reductions, suspension, gearbox, etc, I assume those are all fair game.

So far I'm leaning towards using a:
Toyota COROLLA LEVIN GT-APEX (AE86) 1983

I'm in.I will use Volkswagen Golf IV R32 2003
Also can you tell if the weight reduction and all other mods that don't affect the HP alowed

Pre-race settings screen gives you most accurate horsepower since you tune and setup your car at exactly that place. And yes, you're right used cars gets more benefit from oiling than new cars but this creates excellent balance between some cars.
As it says in rules, upgrade whatever parts you want as long as you don't use GT wing or nitro.
Have fun 👍

Here, me! Toyota SPRINTER TRUENO GT-APEX (AE86) 1983
Welcome! ;)

Currently we have six drivers, if I get one more (which is great!!!👍) I will change 'points per race' rule because I want for all players to get at least 1 point.

Just started racing this morning, here's my upgrades, for those who may be interested.

Racing Exhaust - 4,800 Cr. (162 hp --> 178 hp)
Port Polish - 5,500 Cr. (178 hp --> 183 hp)
Engine Balancing - 12,000 Cr. (183 hp --> 190 hp)
Racing Chip - 1,500 Cr. (190 hp --> 198 hp)
Stage 3 Turbo - 42,500 Cr. (198 hp --> 288 hp)
Sports Intercooler - 1,800 Cr. (288 hp --> 299 hp)
Racing Brakes - 4,700 Cr.
Brake Balance Controller - 10,600 Cr.
Fully Customizable Transmission - 10,400 Cr.
Triple Plate Clutch - 4,700 Cr.
Racing Flywheel - 1,050 Cr.
Fully Customizable LSD - 6,600 Cr.
Fully Customizable Suspension - 17,000 Cr.
Soft Sports Tires (S3) - 6,800 Cr.
Stage 1 Weight Reduction - 1,200 Cr. (970 kg --> 940 kg)
Stage 2 Weight Reduction - 5,500 Cr. (940 kg --> 911 kg)
Stage 3 Weight Reduction - 22,000 Cr. (911 kg --> 882 kg)
Increase Rigidity - 30,000 Cr.

I have a feeling that once I get this car under control (in other words, not sliding all over the place!), it will be quite fast.

Welcome abroad Nilloc, since you are seventh participant I will change ''points per race'' rule 👍 ('points per race' edited)

I think this GTI is gonna be a long shot... All I didn't keep track of prices but so far:

Racing Exhaust
Port Polish
Engine Balancing
Racing Chip
NA Stage 3 (206hp) :nervous: (The max turbo (stage 2) only gets you to 201hp)
Racing Brakes
Brake Balance Controller
Fully Customizable Transmission
Triple Plate Clutch
Racing Flywheel
Fully Customizable LSD
Fully Customizable Suspension
Soft Sports Tires (S3)
Stage 3 Weight Reduction (746 kg) :)

Also I've never competed in one of these, where is the setting for AI settings?
Increase Rigidity

To enter family cup you need to go to original or street circuit/choose track/select family cup/set AI to 4.

I thought that golf 1 gti could be problem because I had one long time before and it maked me so sad, you will eventually see when you do some testing.
