Yeah Homes :) was fun to battle it out, its so difficult to pass on that track and pity I was not closer at the end, I tried to catch u but ran out of juice lol I got a puncture ;)

I think by using a wheelu can limit the steering input and save tyres compared to 'full lock' type input but just thinking ;)

Yes I do think wheel users should have better tire wear than ds3 users .

There are still options ds3 users can use to improve tire wear though , like controller sensitivity , I have never tried it out before but I'm sure there must be some way .

Heading home from work , should be online for practice in an hour or so .

I think ill use the same setup as monaco :)

Hi everyone.
Unfortunately the turnout was not good and a few disconnects eventually led to three of us remaining on the track. Spa was very enjoyable to race on and tyre wear was manageable due to more sweeping corners and long straights plus I was trying to keep my inputs smooth.

It could have been such a good race if everyone pitched up and in the sprint race we were all really close heading into the final chicane which showed if we had a full grid it could have been anyone's win.

I'm looking forward to the next series ;)

Thanks Worduphomes for all the effort you put in, the championship was very well managed.

Hopefully GT500 or a Aussie Falcon V8 one make.....lets see what Homes can rig up.

So I am keen to hear who won at Spa then?

I'm keen for another GT 500... Think the one make will be great as well but I don't think that everyone has the Falcon V8.

I know this was on the OCD recently but I didn't purchase it... Anyone know where you can get one?

CONGRATULATIONS BYO THE LUPO CUP 2011/2012 CHAMPION!

Another great win last night, to quick and smooth...... well done boet! You were consistently the fastest guy pace wise throughout the series and you deserve the championship :)

Thanks Canu. I had good luck for the most part of the championship and really anyone could have ended on higher points had things been different. I qualified first quite a few times which really helped me and as racing goes I have learnt a lot especially being side by side and under pressure trying to pass or keep someone behind. The lupos are great for close racing.
I have just bought a polo hatch so now I can pretend I'm doing the lupo cup on the way to work lol ;)

WELL DONE BYO.

Great series win there bud. You were super consistent and super clean!

I will release news on the new championship in the next few days :)

Thanks guys. ;)
Plenty of luck involved in the races I can assure you.

I will have limited time for the next championship but that won't stop me trying to win ;).

Homes did say something about there being a two week break before the next one.

Lets wait and see.

Hey guys. I did send you all a PSN message about the delay, but just incase:

I am waiting to see if the bug in the game gets resolved by yesterdays update. If you want to find out some info about it check this out: https://www.gtplanet.net/complex-gt5-bug-causes-problems-for-online-racers/

I am now aiming for the 8th February as the start date, but will confirm when I can finalise the rules etc.

Why so long jeepers gonna get withdrawls:crazy:
At least let us know which car we can use so we can start setup

I'm also itching to race. Any clue on what cars the championship will be using? Homes is creating some suspense here. ;)

Fiat 500's with no SRF allowed ..... lol

Cant wait, I miss this stuff, going online just now to mess around
