I like the idea of all using the Falcon, a bit of tuning can be fun but not too fun for those off the pace.
For me GT500 is the best but the cars are not matched up too well and add tuning and you can really get some differences in lap times.

Maybe there can be a Nissan only championship followed by a Honda only championship, then the overall winner of both championships points combined is the ULTIMATE GT500 KING.... errr or QUEEN lol ;)

Good idea...... there is a wide variety of GTRs and Hondas so we can all run the same cars, just different sponsors. The Falcons will be first prize, it's a great car and easiers to drive than the Gt500 cars, which will help the guys that are struggling.

yes - I like this.

We can change the color of the wheels so we know who's on who's team, also in replays / photo's we can see.

We should allow tuning with build up practice sessions leading to race night.

Lets do it
 
Seeing im the reigning champion I should get to choose the car. Lol or atleast choose something. Still haven't received my prize or anything :(

Wow I got someone asking to be teammates with me , makes me feel special :)

I think my friend Tyrell might or has dropped out so we might be able to team up wishywish

In retrospect if I ran my last stint on medium tires I would have had that race in the bag , sigh , all in hindsight.

The lupo races are going to be a lot better now because we will have to stop twice every race compared to before when we would all do 1 stops .

We might have to continue this series again .

I been experimenting with the super gt cars and I think it is possible for the different cars to compete, even the Lexus can be quick with a bit of persuasion. My only concern is tyre wear, I prefer oversteer but struggling to make 7 laps around autumn ring is worrying.
 
Hi Guys

I will have a Lupo Room open tonight for some practice at Monza if anyone's keen.

We can test tires and do a few sprint races

The GT cars are very even, the Honda is loose and wears tires badly, the GTR is smooth and much easier to drive with far less tirewear. I haven't messed around with the Lexus to much but it seems to handle pretty damn good. It's more about choosing a car the suits your driving style and working on a good setup. The Falcons are a safer bet, atleast nobody can complain that one car is better thanthe next...... it just comes down to pure skill :)

I think we should do the Rising Sun v2 or the Falcon Cup on Sundays or Mondays, starting from 22nd or 23rd of January.

Would this work for you guys?

Also... do we run:

1. Rising Sun Cup part 2 with similar rules to Part1?
2. Ford Falcon one make series?
3. Find a pp that we can run the Falcon at to compete fairly with the gt cars and run them together?
 
Um Homes the points are incorrect, the qualifying positions are jumbled. Byo got pole, I was 3rd and Driver was 6th. Lol. I don't mind what we run as the next championship, but I can't race on Mondays, I work shift. Sundays are perfect! :)

What specs and rules do you guys use in your gt500 league ?

What track do we race again tomorrow ?

Its gona be Monza tommorow SkengD. I must say I'm keen on racing something different, I will test the Falcon and see what PP is good to run with gt500 but maybe someone else can do the same so we get a average or something.
I think it was 590 PP for the super gt with slight pp reductions for the front runners but I'm not totally sure.

For quali I see penalties can also apply during free run which should herlp regulate things especially at Monza.
 
I don't think we should mix GT500 with the Falcon, guys are just going to bitch and moan like little girls as per usual about other guys winning just because there cars r faster..... we all know who. Lol we should just vote Falcons or GT500. The pp ballasting for the front guys ruined alot of potentially great races last season, we are all close enough to keep it even. Rather give the extra pp to the back markers :) Let's vote and get it done so we can start the preseason buildup!!!! Yes please :)
 
Agree 100% Canu. Can't have some guys complaining. I'm easy as far as gt or falcon, think slightly leaning towards gt cars.
Pp added to slower guys is also better like in th lupos, the quicker guys should have consistent pp, most cars alrerady need engine power reduced so making 1 or 2 guys go lower pp is unfair.
 
What ever get decided...we should do the same race format as Lupo's.

Sprint....then reverse grid for feature.

Leave pit stops open for any time during race now that the tire wear is different.

We should allow the back 5 in championship extra 5PP as mentioned. Maybe even allowing them to choose when to have it, let them accumulate the PP as well, but limit it to lets say...no more than 15PP.

I say yes let's do the gt500 cars on a sunday .

With the same format as we use for the lupos but leaving pit strategy to the drivers to decide ( no more pit window )

590 pp doesn't sound bad at all

Tonight is gona be fun, quite a long one seeing as it takes over 2 mins a lap.
I better concentrate this race lol, doesn't take much to get a penalty ;)
 
I think a GT 500 series would be great. But could the PP be increased to 600? Possibly?
Same rules as per the Rising Sun Cup should be used because it worked great last time but agree that the backmarkers should have PP boost...
 
Fun racing last night, IMMORTAL had serious pace ! A lot of side by side action, for me there was hardly any contact and must say well done to everyone, the sprint race was extremely close and using bumper view can be tricky when someone is at your side but I think now we all getting used to each other and a bit more patient which really helps to limit incidents,

Great racing by all of us yesterday , thanks Immortal for joining us hope you can join us more often even though the Lupo races are coming to a halt .

I had no luck yesterday and kept getting myself into side by side battles in chicanes which resulted in me ending up in the sand .I had really good pace too but I just wasn't up to the performance level mentally yesterday , I guess I was a bit fatigued .

The feature race had a really great first stint . Immortal , Byo and I had a nice battle and 3 of us ended up in the pits at the same time , I accidentally put on the same medium tires again and this totally screwed my race . I then made a mistake after Byo received a penalty and I was gutted and lost all enthusiasm .

Sometimes when I know the victory is out of reach I just lose the drive and vibe to push and race hard , :(

Great racing as usual and great times , see you all next week
 
Thanks guys for a great evening of serious but fun racing. The sprint race was awesome! I managed to get in front on the last lap and when I looked in the mirror I had a good gap on everyone. I then managed to throw it into the sand on the next corner like a real amateur haha ha. To many cocktails in the sun effected my performance lol. I had a great start to the feature race and was running with Byo and the boys on my mediums and things were looking great...... and then the dreaded dc :( but I'll get revenge at Monaco! Lol Have a great new years boys!!!! Keep it clean ;)
 
I have thought i want to drive every week now here.
Its a good Series.
And close racing
