Worst And Best Handling Car

The vehicle i totally despise the most, in terms of handling would have to be the Tank Car. My favorites would have to be any of the JGTC/Super GT's...

I wouldn't say that the Yellowbird is the worst handling car, however. The Yellowbird, I would class as the hardest car to master driving.[/SIZE]

It's definitely a difficult car to master, but extremely rewarding. My comment was based on a driver's ability, and the car's tendency to go from severe over and understeer at the drop of a hat. If the driver lacks finesse, the Yellowbird is one of the worst cars around. Get it right, though, and you begin to understand what makes it so special.

Worst, SLS AMG 10- its a dog. Bought one and sold it in disgust!
Second Mazda RX-7- no way either of us could nail that seasonal a while ago!

Best Lancia Delta HF Integrale 91. God what a machine! Beat a Golf GTi in Arcade mode in heavy snow in its first outing. It just doesnt put a foot wrong!
Second Golf GTi.

Worst: Red Bull X2010
Reason: Maybe it's down to driver skill, but giving 1500 horsepower into my hands is like giving Clarkson a ZR1 and expecting it to go around corners. Its just not happening.
Best: Any of the Super GT
Reason: Predictable and bloody great fun.

I don't know about best and worst. They can all be altered so much with a decent set up.

In my opinion, the Audi R8 LMS is the easiest to go quickly in, straight out of the box.
The GT40 Test Car runs it close though.

The most dissappointing was the Audi R10. Go figure.

Ruf Yellowbird. Depending on your ability, it's either one of the very best cars you've ever driven, or one of the very worst. I'm somewhere in-between. It's great when I don't screw up.

Definitely agree with this. I love driving the Yellowbird but it's 50/50 on whether it handles well or not depending on your skill.

AEM S2000 and the Calibra are brilliant, I love driving them over and over. I like the '62 Stingray Racecar too, surprisingly. I know most of the racecars are tuned for handling, but it doesn't stop me outwardly praising them; GT40 is right up there too.

I find the Elises difficult without most of the aids turned on, which I find a bit annoying, and the Buick Special is like an oil rig on wheels making a 3-point turn down an alley; it just won't do it!

I'm sure it's been said but the Veyron is a dog. Careful tweaking can coax some limited performance out of it though. Then again, we shouldn't be surprised; a car that heavy with that much power won't be the most agile or reflexive brute to ever grace a race track.

Worst:
tommy kaira ZZII
Bugatti Veyron

Best:
F1 cars
2J
908
Mclaren F1
Any BMW M3
Evolution X

edit-

Forgot about the yellowbird. You can't even go in a straight line without spinning out ffs.

Too heavy huh, well we could do with the new Ariel Atom. 2000 HP in a doorless car the weight of a shoebox!

I dislike the new Atom to be honest, it's overkill. The original one is still the shizz though!

In my opinion the best handling car I have driven is the Mazda Furai, as long as you don't power out of a corner too soon. As for the worst, it's a tie between the Lotus Elise 111R on Comfort Hards :yuck: or the Tank Car; it's just too big and heavy for many tracks.

The worst is easily that RUF Yellow Bird. Slides all over the place like it's on ice. I've got 310 cars and that thing's an order of magnitude worse than any of them. I've got both an Enzo and a Veyron and think they handle pretty well with a little tuning, especially the Enzo. That's really a joy to drive if you set it up right.

I didnt drive any LMP1 cars yet so keep that in mind :

Worst : X2010 (I might get bashed but I really hate that things on ds3, input far too sensitive).
Best : Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II it eats superGT cars.

Yea I noticed in a race last night, one of the AI cars in front was a Yellowbird. Everytime it would overtake me and everytime it would spin on the apex with a cloud of dust! Now the RUF I have (BT 92 i think) is quite plantable, even with extra HP. But that yellowbird, no thanks!

I find the BMW 320i touring car handles beautifully, but a large part of the credit for
that goes to the chassis not being tested by its meagre 270bhp I expect

i might go mad and see what it'll get with a turbo :D

Totally disagree, I bought the SLS recently just to try out and love it, such an easy and fun car to drive. Do love the golf gti though

Best, Ferrari italia, point and shoot at any corner with any tune

Worst, Renault sport trophy race car, I really liked it in the other games, cant work out why if its the same car

My favourite handling car, by a long long way is the Amuse S2000 GT1. Massive amounts of grip and easy to put it exactly where you want it. It's very easy to pick up and drive at 90%... to get that last 10% from it is a very enjoyable challenge.

Worst, Veyron. Overpowered, heavy and understeery. No fun!

Surprised to see the Alfa 8c on the list, I have a mildly tweaked one (495bhp & 1299kgs) and I love it.

The yellowbird is my favourite handling car in the game see my vid below, the worst has to be that focus from the seasonal event challenge for me

Hmm... lets see: Best I would say the Furai. Incredibly fast but very controllable. 787B, XJ13 and 330P4 are great too.

Worst of the normal cars I would say the Focus from the Madrid Challenge which is quite strange since its normally known for handling great. I also hated the Elise in the Top Gear Challenge to the bone.

Most fun I would say the Miura, I love that thing!

I have a valid point here.
I agree that they veyron and tank car are all hard as hell to drive, with Super GT/JGTC cars being best.

but which Super GT/JGTC car is best?

theres supra's, GT-R's, NSX's, & the Lexus SC430's.
then you even have the older ones you buy from the usedcar dealership...

IMO i prefer the Xanavi GT-R or the Raybrig NSX..

Now this is weird. My other half's Elise 111R is a peach, fabulous handler. My 111R on the other hand is a right handful, yet HP and other tuning is idenyical. We even wrote down her stats and copied them to mine! And yes Ive driven both. Very odd!
